Le Papillon Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake

My sister and I spent 3 nights at Le Papillon while attending the Shaw Festival. It's in an excellent location and we could walk to the theatres, shops and restaurants. Our room had 2 single beds, a couple of comfortable wing chairs and a small bathroom with a shower. Our hosts, Louis and Patrice, were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is normally served at 8:45 but Louis readily agreed to serve us earlier on a couple of the days when needed. Breakfast was good and was served in the sun room just off the lovely garden. We were given a cordial welcome by Lewis and the two adorable dogs upon our arrival. We stayed in the “Viceroy” room. We found it to be spacious and clean. There was no tv in the room which suited us just fine. There was a tv however with satellite in the communal room. The backyard was not overly large but had plenty of seating. It was adorned with plenty of foliage and kept up nice. Breakfast was an appetizer bowl of fresh fruit followed by a very delicious frittata. |Our hosts were very pleasant and accommodating.
