After reading other reviews my wife and I were very excited to stay at this hotel but we were left extremely disappointed. For a start the hotel is located on the outskirts of town away from the action and at the bottom of the valley requiring a steep hike to get into the town. The road to it is unpaved and tremendously difficult to navigate if you have cases as we did. The room we were assigned was tiny, freezing and lacked essentials like a hair drier. The walls were paper thin letting on noise and letting out warmth. Tv didn’t work. In the mornings we were keen to get out early to hike before the crowds. Breakfast was meant to be at 7.30am, we arrived at 7.20am but weren’t given anything until after 8am- the staff showed no interest in serving us and instead we’re just doing general breakfast prep despite the fact we were the only people in the restaurant. We ended up getting to our hike late and with the crowds. Despite what others have written the breakfast is limited- were were allowed to pick one item only either eggs/bread or pancakes or cereal, we were both still hungry afterwards and had to buy extra food in town. The hotel would not accept our card as payment and we were made to pay...
