wallkers — Hotel in Quindío

My husband and I stayed in this hostel for a night. They owner (Sebastian) and receptionist (Arley) were very friendly and helpful. They welcomed us and showed us the hostel which was very clean. They also gave us a lot of information about where to eat and the most popular places in town. They also had a very helpful map at the entrance of the hostel about how to get to the Cócora Valley which was our main goal on our trip. Beds were comfortable, towels were very clean, and the hostel overall was well equipped (kitchen, living room, dining room, games, books, Netflix, PS4, and writing materials). |Location: 5-7 min walking distance from the main plaza, but pretty much all the hostels in this small town are not far from the main plaza! ||We super recommend this...

I am staying here tonight and not only have we heard people in the kitchen the entire night, but now it's 10:30pm and a couple are watching a movie directly outside of our room. It is the common area but there seem to be no rules about usage or no-go times. This is extremely disappointing as we hoped to get up at 6:30am for the hike tomorrow. Will not stay another night. ||||On the positive side, it is clean and the staff seem super super friendly. But the noise and no rules is ridiculous. If they would create and enforce rules about the common area like most hostels (only use common areas from 8am - 8pm) this could easily avoided. There is even a bar upstairs where the people who want to stay up late could easily chat etc without...
