Rezidence Dlouhá 17 — Hotel in Prague

Now, mind that the review is performed relative to the hotel's price and category, it's not a comparison to a dream hotel.

THE GOOD The receptionists speak English (to a various degree), but also other languages - at least French. The breakfast hall is just next to the reception, and there is a possibility to brew a cup of tea or coffee any time. Very nice. The rooms are clean. A lot of shelf places - and I mean, a lot. I could put each piece of my clothes on its own shelf, and there would be some shelves left There is a nice patio between the 1st and the 2nd floors. Breakfast is surprisingly good - eggs (though not every day), ham, yoghurt.

THE STRANGE Don't use your room card for the main entrance, it won't work. Ring a bell. You're not allowed to bring a guest upstairs, only to the lobby. The first hotel where I see this rule.

THE MISSING Now I will compare the hotel to an ideal one 😁 The points here do not influence the rating, but just notes helping choosing a hotel. A single room has a single bed, not double. The bathroom is rather small. No bathtub. Shelf space is limited, though it was enough for me traveling solo. The madras was a bit soft for my taste. I saw no air conditioner in the room. It was no issue in the beginning of May, but may become one further...

Love the hotel!||Very close in the old town center.||Very close convenience stores and nice restos.||Nice to have met a very friendly receptionist named, Ella. She's been very helpful in so many ways.||The other receptionist who I did not bother getting the name is a bit rude... =( But Ella's friendliness compensated for all of these.||One comment, though, I tried to be economical in my towel usage but housekeeping did not even bother fixing my towels after cleaning my room!||Highly...

I would like to thank you for your hospitality. During my stay in your hotel I did research on the geopoetics of Prague. The location of the hotel helped me a lot. It was quite close to the University, libraries and cultural-research centres. The room where I was staying was quiet and made a perfect place for writing articles.
