I recently stayed at the Pharaohs Pyramids View hotel, and it was an experience I’ll never forget! The hotel offers an incredible, direct view of the Pyramids of Giza, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the ancient wonders of Egypt.
What I loved:
Spectacular View: Waking up to the sight of the pyramids right outside my window was simply magical. The rooftop terrace also provides a perfect spot for sunrise and sunset views. Comfortable Rooms: The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like fresh towels and complimentary toiletries. Friendly Staff: The staff went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. They were helpful, offering recommendations for local tours and even arranging transportation. Great Location: Besides the proximity to the pyramids, the hotel is situated in a convenient location, close to local restaurants and shops, so I could easily explore the area on foot. What could improve:
Wi-Fi Connection: The internet connection was a bit slow at times, which made it difficult to get work done. However, it wasn’t a major issue since I was mostly there for leisure. Breakfast Options: While the breakfast was decent, I feel there could be more variety, especially for those staying multiple nights. Overall, I had an amazing time at Pharaohs Pyramids View and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairo. The combination of the fantastic view, comfortable stay, and excellent service made my trip...

Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was informed by the front desk that they had not received my booking details. I waited patiently while trying to get some clarity. I had made the booking through Agoda and completed the online payment to confirm our reservation at this hotel. However, when we arrived on the 5th of April, the receptionist told us they had no record of any booking from Agoda. He even claimed that they never accept online payment bookings from Agoda.
The receptionist insisted that we pay in cash instead, saying that the hotel only accepts cash payments. He also told me to cancel the Agoda booking—even though it clearly stated it was non-refundable and could not be canceled on the day of check-in.
What’s even more suspicious is that they printed out a booking under my name from Expedia (unpaid), which we never used to make the reservation. The hotel created a FAKE BOOKING under my name.
After a considerable delay and with no other choice, I had to cancel my Agoda booking and contact Agoda support by email. I was stranded for 10 hours without a hotel before Agoda finally replied. To make things worse, the hotel falsely claimed that we did not show up, so I had to explain the entire situation to Agoda in order to request a refund.
Please be careful with this hotel, as they promote a lot of ads on Agoda, Booking.com, and Expedia under different hotel names but using the...
Read moreThis hotel names itself 'majestic view pyramids inn' on booking.com, beware! I was scummed by the man who checked us in. I booked a deluxe King room, as I saw great reviews on bookimg.com and price was reasonable. The room I was given was nothing close to duluxe, crammed up, broken tiles on bathroom floor, things were badly fixed and positioned, hardly any room to move. Before giving us the room, the guy tried to sell us few things which we politely refused as we thought his quotes were too high.||Before checking us in, he asked for my pin from booking.com, then went and cancelled my booking, he then approved the cancellation. I was not aware but when I went to write a review I realised that I couldn't give a review, reason being I cancelled it (which I didn't) we stayed that night and paid in cash, we spent time in other hotels to enjoy the atmosphere. ||I'm writing this so others are aware and don't fall for the trap. They may be having a good room but most likely saved for those that are going to spend more on his offers. ||At the door of the hotel the name was 'king of Pharaohs pyramids view', when I questioned the name on booking.com, he said they have several floors and different hotels in the same building which was a complete lie. The top floor has a beautiful rooftop. ||The day we were checking out, there was a younger guy and an old man, both were very nice...
