This review is all pro’s, literally have 0 cons about this hotel ‼️ During our 13 day trip across the country, this by far was our best experience (all were good btw). Surrounding area: -2 min walk to the entrance of the Giza Pyramids. -Restaurants & local markets are near. -Camel, horse & ATV rides EVERYWHERE. -Locals are extremely friendly & easy to find English speaking. Hotel: -As the name states, BEST VIEW OF THE PYRAMIDS from rooftop & rooftop rooms. -Amazing sunset view -No need to pay for light show, can sit & watch from rooftop. -YOU MUST SEE Ahmed Bosta ‼️ This incredible human & was the kindest when it came to any personal needs or tours. I wish we met him before planning anything because his personalized tours just for your group are what everyone is looking for. You will do things for longer durations & away from the tourist crowds is a MUST. You will get the best pictures, service, local food, tour, markets, prices, etc LITERALLY ANYTHING. Anywhere or anything you need all across Egypt, he will arrange it EXACTLY to your preference. He will even personally be your guide to ensure you’re happy, safe, comfortable & all expectations are met. This man is well known everywhere & by everyone. Most importantly, he made us feel safe, protecting us from the hassle of everyone approaching us. Please feel free to reach me by IG (@Ol_Chuckie) to get further information on Ahmed Bosta. Ahmed’s IG is @ahmed__bosta. On his page, You will be able to see pics & hear testimonials about his services. DO NOT BOOK W/ anyone else or any hotel. He’s able to arrange everything prior to arriving in Egypt. WHATEVER YOU NEED, AHMED BOSTA HAS IT COVERED ‼️ -Rooftop restaurant chef & food was incredible. Everything was delicious & full of flavor. Even brought local traditional foods for us to try free of charge to show us the upmost hospitality. -Staff was better than any staff I’ve experienced anywhere in the US. Professional, courteous & welcoming.

True - local hotel competition is extremely dense in the area and owners will do whatever they can to attract businesses, as I would. True - as a solo traveller feeling secure in your environment makes the experience that much better, but only you know what that means. I had zero issues at all and the staff were extremely kind. From check-in, to check-out you will feel as though you are a part of the family, reception to the restaurant. Flights are often late arrivals to Cairo and as the reception desk is open 24 hours you can arrive any time of the day knowing you will be catered to, I opted for Uber @ 1AM as the chaos of Cairo airport can be overwhelming on first impressions if you are unfamiliar. In addition to the kind hospitality the accommodations I had were very nice, large rooms, clean bathroom, cold air conditioning and I had many good nights sleep. Breakfast which I found to be very nice is served on the top floor and you will be treated to a spectacular view. This opportunity carries on throughout the day and into the evening where food and drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace. I have visited and stayed in this area in the past and was fully aware of what this translates into. This is ground central for tourism and all this implies, these are people who live and work in the area. For those reviews that are less inspiring, follow their other reviews and build a personality profile before casting judgement. The posted images are factual. There are also many YouTube posts of solo travellers safely walking the local area at night. This is a great hotel, be kind, be humble and remember this is Egypt.

Disappointed at the cleanliness of this hotel. I was recommended by a travel agency located in the airport. I explained I wanted a room with the pyramids. Upon arrival I was quickly hassled into doing activities. At this point I just got off the plane and I haven’t eaten. I wanted to relax. The room was dirty, toilet reeked, and the window was small facing another building. I complained immediately asking for a refund and to be shown to the hotel with room view of pyramids. They refused to give me back my money. Unfortunately I stayed for one night I wish I didn’t stay at all. Later in the night someone walked into my room while I was sleeping. I’m grateful my boyfriend was there but I was scared being in another country an unknown person entering our room. I couldn’t sleep at all for the rest of the night. The next morning we left I made a complaint and told the staff it was unsafe how people have access to our room while we are sleeping. All I could think of was if we weren’t in the room and went out to explore at night. Would our belongings still be there? The only thing this place has that’s ideal is the view of the pyramids on the rooftop but the chairs were dirty, tables broken, and the restaurant looked like it hadn’t open in years. Thankful I only stayed for one night but for future visits or recommendation. I WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN!

I’m honestly not sure where to begin because this hotel has both huge pros and huge cons.

After four messages confirming my airport pickup at midnight, no one showed. I followed the directions, waited over an hour, and called the number they gave me three times with no answer. Meanwhile, I had to deal with aggressive drivers and scammers outside the airport before finally arriving at the hotel around 2 a.m. Exhausted and frustrated, I brought it up at the desk, but instead of apologizing, they insisted they had been there and acted like it was somehow my fault—even when I showed them my phone lo and followed exactly the instructions they said.

Now, here’s where it gets complicated. The rooftop and views are stunning. Watching the pyramids at sunset from there is unforgettable. For one or two nights, this hotel is worth it just for that experience. But beyond that, the area outside of the hotel feels unsafe and uncomfortable as a foreigner—constant harassment, animal waste everywhere, and nothing much else to do (but your mainly here for a beautiful night on the rooftop). Plus, it’s far from other major attractions in Cairo, so staying four nights (like I did) was a mistake.

Where things really went downhill was the excursions. I strongly recommend not booking any tours through the hotel. Both pyramid tours I tried were awkward—guides spent more time asking for tips than actually guiding. The Nile cruise was even worse: the hotel booked me for the wrong night, so my evening was completely wasted. When they “rebooked” me, I ended up on a dirty, smoky boat that was nothing like the original 5-star one they promised. The ATV tour was also misleading—there was a literal child sitting on the front of my ATV the entire time because they wouldn’t give him his own, and instead of a professional photography experience, it was a ride through trash-filled alleys with restrictions on using my camera.

To top it off, the hotel owner (who had ignored me up until then) tried to pressure me into leaving a 5-star review, which explains why there are so many glowing reviews online. He ignored me all trip then when I was checking out was trying to get me to sit down and leave a review but I felt so betrayed by the excursions I just walked away from him.

Final Thought: If you just want one or two nights to take in the rooftop view of the pyramids, this hotel delivers. But do not book any excursions through them—use a reputable service instead. And don’t plan on exploring the neighborhood at night. Use that app Indrive I got to the airport for like 3 dollars instead of the 35 usd the hotel wanted to charge me.

⸻

Pros: • Rooftop has unbeatable views of the pyramids (especially at sunset) • Memorable for a short 1–2 night stay • Unique experience seeing the pyramids from your hotel

Cons: • Airport pickup never showed despite confirmations • Staff blamed me instead of apologizing • Area around hotel feels unsafe especially at night and unpleasant (harassment, trash, animal waste) • Far from most attractions besides the pyramids • Excursions booked through hotel were scams or badly managed (wrong nights, bad tour guides , misleading experiences) • Pressured to leave a leave a 5 star review (I got out of it, but if you read through the reviews many say he...

DO NOT BOOK HERE.

I genuinely do not understand all the 5-star reviews this hotel is getting; the only plausible explanation is to believe the reviews where guests say they were forced to write good reviews with the owner standing over them.

This hotel is a total scam. Please don’t fall for this catfish like we did. Yes, there’s a great view of the pyramids… BUT it’s not worth enduring a stay at this awful hotel. The room was tiny, the products were mismatched (i.e. they maybe left travel-sized shampoos/soaps in there that other travelers left behind or something, they had like a dollar-store Mickey Mouse trash can in there, etc.), and overall it just felt unsafe. You cannot use the tub that LOOKS to overlook the pyramids in the misleading photos online because the rooms are located along the restaurant and shared balcony (i.e. if you open your curtains, you will be sharing your bubble bath experience with the rest of the guests and staff). The free breakfast was terrible (though the coffee was actually pretty good) and I honestly felt unsure eating anything that came out of that building anyway.

We left unexpectedly, so we weren’t hassled/hustled to book any tours or leave a 5-star review or anything, but it did feel like this hotel was a gathering place for older gentlemen / friends of the owner that were not guests at the hotel. Nothing bad happened, but they definitely did put off gangster/sketchy vibes like some of the other reviews stated. We originally booked this hotel for three or four nights, but we only lasted ONE before we checked out. We didn’t even bother complaining because (again, as another review said) we felt very unsafe and the sketchy men hung out near reception anyway. When checking out several nights early, the employee at reception didn't even ask why or inquire about our stay; I'm sure they were just happy to have our money for the additional nights we weren't staying.

Please do not book a stay here. It completely ruined our...

I come from Los Angeles, California, by way of Ethiopia, and upon arrival, I was shown the most hospitable welcome by the owner, Adam. It was a long day, with a lot of walking and negotiating with different people, and it was such a relief to land at a safe and secure hotel. The hotel is clean, classic, and a flair of elegance with marble interior throughout the entire hotel; the check in process was efficient and smooth and everything was laid out for me when I arrived. From the suite, you can sit in the jacuzzi and watch the pyramid light show, and from the bed you can watch the sunrise and sunset — the best view in Giza for the Pyramid Light Show and early morning Pyramid viewing.

Highlights: • Location: Best location in Giza — Hotel is minutes away from the Pyramid entrance, with spectacular roof top views of all of the pyramids, you can see the pyramid light show every night, free, with the best view — I recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to Giza and needs relaxation and peace. • Free pickup shuttle service from the airport, offered 24 hours, and the service is free of charge. • Price for the room is unbeatable, the best price for location and service in Giza. • OWNER - Adam, wow. Probably the best service I’ve been shown since I arrived in Egypt. • Tours - I recommend you book your tour from inside the reception of the hotel: the price is the best, and he offers tours throughout all of Egypt: Luxor, Aswan, Library of Alexandria, The Egyptian Museum, Mohamed Ali Mosque, and all of Cairo, including a Nile cruise. Sunsets with a pyramid on an ATV. • The Best View Hotel will become your home away from home.

Very kind and friendly owner who goes out of his way to serve you and ensure you are provided for in every way.

When I return to Giza, the Best View Hotel will be at the top of my list of hotels to return to, it truly is a memorable experience with an owner that cares about his staff, hotel, guests experience, and service...
