Kim Soya Bean is a famous, long-running street food stall in Kuala Lumpur's Chinatown, specifically located in Petaling Street. The family-run stall has been operating for over 70 years and is known for its fresh, traditional, and silky smooth soya bean products.

Signature products Soya bean milk: The stall serves freshly made soy milk, which is described as having the perfect balance of thickness and authentic soy flavor. Tau fu fah (soybean pudding): Customers praise the soft and delicate texture of the soybean pudding, which melts in your mouth. It is served with a choice of syrup, such as a sweet red or brown sugar sauce. "Michael Jackson": This popular drink combines soya bean milk and cincau (grass jelly).

Location and experience Location: The stall is positioned at the intersection of Petaling Street, just outside the Kim Lian Kee restaurant. Takeaway only: There are no tables for seating, so the experience is strictly takeaway. Popularity: Despite potentially long queues during peak hours, the service is efficient. The stall's reputation is well-known, even having former Prime Minister Mahathir as a fan. Cash only: Prepare to pay with cash, as card payments are generally...

Kim Soya Bean is a must-visit spot for soya bean lovers in Kuala Lumpur. Located in the bustling streets of Petaling Street (Chinatown), this place serves some of the freshest and creamiest soya bean drinks and desserts you’ll ever taste. The quality and flavor make it worth the hype!

Be prepared to wait, as the queue can get quite long, especially during peak hours. However, the wait is absolutely worth it. The soya bean drink is silky smooth, with just the right amount of sweetness. Pair it with their tau fu fa (soybean pudding), and you’re in for a treat—soft, delicate, and melts in your mouth.

The service is efficient despite the crowd, and the staff ensures that orders are handled quickly. Prices are reasonable, making it an affordable indulgence for everyone.

If you’re exploring Chinatown and craving something refreshing and delicious, Kim Soya Bean is a must-try. Just be patient with the line—it’s all part of the experience! Highly recommended for its unbeatable soya bean...

Being a vegan one gets to eat lot of tofu and soy milk, but they are always mass produced and sold in supermarkets and made in one city and perhaps sold kms and kms away. This was perhaps as fresh as it can get.

We had a Soya Bean and Cincau - Soy Milk with grass jelly. It was raining a few minutes before we arrived here and it was humid and this drink did the trick. Cool and not too sweet and the jelly pieces added some texture and a bit more sweetness. A fantastic drink. Felt nothing artificial was added like the soy milk we get in cartons here. The best soy milk I have had.

We also had a Tau Fu Fah - Tofu pudding with a sweet syrup at the bottom. The silken tofu was a warm (never had warm silken dessert tofu) and it was love at first bite. I am amazed that such a simple dessert can taste so good and makes you feel so good. Why crave cakes, cookies and junk desserts when we can have this.

The best - nothing else to...
