Very poor check in and out process. Not a hotel!! It is privately run suites with check in all done through WhatsApp- so make sure you have google roam plus this app. Poor service with cash payment required and no receipt given for payment or deposit paid - once they finally found our booking Long list of what not to do - but no action when faults advised to them. Our room had severely damaged floating flooring - told sorry about this but that’s it, extremely loud dryer - told its old that’s how it is. ‘Fully stocked kitchen’ is false. No toaster no knives or forks, no decent drinking glasses just a part of it. Tv only works with you tube or other paid cable service like Amazon prime through a fire stick. Need your own account. No free to air and no instructions Bed and lounge very firm - no give at all. Hard to sleep on either Although booked for 4 there were only 2 dining chairs to use at extended bench - no dining table. Lounge only seat 3 Shower in main bathroom didn’t come out properly- only ran weakly from centre of spout and water was only just hot at the start even on full hot and quickly turned to lukewarm, what you could get out of the shower spout. Dealings with our contact was very dodgy and left us feeling very dissatisfied and worried at each occasion. The main ‘reception’ as advertised doesn’t actually do anything for people staying there Taxi concierge takes a cut each time so better sourcing your own or using grab (like Uber). View from pool was nice but NOT a place to relax and have a drink. Only allowed to take water up there, and there are rules like you must shower before entering the pool, which were not signposted, only strongly shouted at you by security as soon as you put your towel down- even when we were heading to the shower on our second visit No adapter provided so make sure you take your own. Booked a driver to take us to airport at 6 am - one we found through the concierge - who didn’t show. Ended up getting a taxi who was the same price as the driver Dave had quoted us. Lesson learnt- avoid this place On a positive note we enjoyed DeepBlue restaurant on the rooftop. Food was good and service was excellent

If you're up for an adventure, navigating to The Platinum Suites 2 by LUMA is half the fun! With three different receptions, it’s like a hotel scavenger hunt—just be sure to keep your sense of humour intact! Once you finally check-in, the room with a balcony offers stunning views of the iconic Menara. Trust me, you’ll want to snap a pic or two (or twenty) because the swimming pool views are unbeatable, even if it’s mostly a backdrop for photo shoots. Who needs a calm pool day when you can have a mini fashion runway instead? Now, let’s talk logistics. The price might be a tad high, and the 3 PM check-in feels like a polite way of saying, “You’re not getting in until we’re ready.” Arrive early, and you’ll find yourself awkwardly jockeying for space on the reception couches—good luck! On the bright side, the staff is friendly, and the cleaning crew is top-notch, though I had a bit of a surprise encounter with a cockroach that debuted in the wardrobe. Eww! It's just a little reminder that nature can sometimes be too friendly. Another surprise was the lovely kitchen with a stove but no microwave or cooking utensils. What's the point of such a top-notch kitchen if I can't whip up a meal? It's like having a sports car with no gas! One thing that caught me off guard was the absence of a prayer mat in the room. While there's a prayer room on the 51st floor, having one would have been a thoughtful touch. Remember, if you're hungry, the nearest restaurants are two monorail stops away in Bukit Bintang apart from the one in the lobby, so plan. Overall, if you can navigate the entrance maze and the timing quirks, you’ll find a gem with amazing views and a vibrant atmosphere. Just don’t forget to bring your patience and a good camera! 🌟

I am not sure this is the right place. It definitely is the area. We stayed in Platinum Suites Veedu Hauz. We were told to call them 10 minutes prior to arrival, which we did. There was a gentleman waiting for us and took us straight to our apartment. He explained everything in detail and asked us to pay a deposit of 300 MYR. As he could only accept cash, and we didn't have it on us. We went to the ATM right outside, and everything was fine. The place was bright ckean and spacious. There were so many rules, do's, and don'ts posted everywhere. We thought it might be find excuses to keep our deposit. But I have to admit, that was not the case. It probably have to do with guests misbehaving while there. They had a good size fridge/freezer, and other kictchen utensils, so you can cook if necessary. We, however, were happy with just the kettle. An Electrolux washer/dryer was also there. We had a problem with the washing machine and had to wait for a mechanic 2 days later. He couldn't fix it then, so after a long discussion, they replaced the machine. It served our purpose. We only used the 18 minutes quick cycle, but it washed well, probably also because the detergent provided was good quality. Upon check out, we only had to take photos and send it to them. Someone met us at the lobby and returned our deposit as we returned the key. We had a wonderful stay. The only negative point I had was the long wait every time you tried to take the lift. But that beyond their control. Maybe if we return to KL, we might consider staying there again.

Terrible stay, dissappointed services and not well maintained facilities! Staff being unreasonable. Scam us and lied to us regards to our room. ||1. Call the host (Israfil) that we have reached, he said he will come down, waited for 20mins and still not here. Only to called him again and he said he's at the lobby. And he has been standing all the while with no initiative to call us and talking to his friend. Went there and asked if he is the host. Yes, indeed he is. ||2. Reached outside our hotel room and saw a hanging key and quietly went inside to our great surprise there were 3 housekeepers seating and chit-chatting at the sofa. They looked super shocked and asked again if this is my room. Get up and they turned on the aircon, with the sofa cover not covered properly and in a mess , floor carpet with crumbs?. And they looked ard maybe a last check? Terribleeeeee!!!||3. We booked for 2 three bedroom suites. Checked in and my cousin received a room with a glass door with no privacy. She is pregnant and staying with her parents and one of our other relative. She called in to have a room change. Was informed they have only 3 three bedroom suites and 1 room left which is my cousin. And mine was an upgraded 4 bedroom suite which Israfil didn't informed me it was? Googled and there's no 4 bedroom suites. Checked out, infront of my cousin asked him again if mine is an upgraded one, he said NO! Mine is 3 bedroom suite same as hers which is no. Mine has no glass door. We felt cheated. They twisted their words.||3. The whole apartment is a disaster! Laundry room toilet, the water spray is leaking. Room 1 has no lock! The room can't be closed properly with an open gap at the top corner. Beds and pillows looks stained and dirty! Master bedroom bathroom has no lock!! Maybe the lock is for show?? The bathtub is dirty have to keep washing it off for many times. Shower gel is empty. Total rundown!||4. Service is super slow!!! Asked for the spare key from checked in and was delayed till we went out and came back yet have to wait from 10pm to almost 12am after so many spam whatsapp to only received the key from a 'black face' staff (not the skin clr obviously, no racist game of course)||5. Forgotten about the rules that we cant place the rubbish outside the hotel room and forgotten to called the staff to pick up and throw, so no warning letter given for a first timer?. Straight 200rm penalty. Offered to pay but host can't issue an invoice due to holidays?. Maybe he meant weekends. After some arguments , debate here and there, finally he can issue a manual invoice. ||The whole experience with the services, staff and apartment makes the holidays bad!. Will never return here and no one should too. Hope the above management can have a proper background check of this company and why are they still operating. Not sure how are there so many bad reviews but there are still 5 stars reviews abovehead. |||Too many! Terrible stay, dissappointed services and not well maintained facilities! : All you need is a Malaysian SIM card or a data plan for Malaysia, WhatsApp, Line, or equivalent, and everything becomes simple... All the information you need for arrival at the hotel, comments, and photos to guide you, down to the smallest details, right up to the lobby and the collection of your apartment's magnetic cards, which allow you to access all the hotel's services. And very importantly, don't forget the 500 Myr deposit, in cash or by credit card, to be given in the lobby. Very responsive communication with Alma via WhatsApp. In my case, a young man, speaking good English, responds immediately to your requests. If you need anything, he answers and shows up within 5 minutes. Your towels are soaked because you used them at the pool, he changes them for you. I can't tell you about breakfast because we had it in our simply superb 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on the 49th floor, with a superb view of the city and a small view of the Petronas Towers to the right. Quiet and very fast elevators. Very good gym on 50A. And finally, on the 51st floor, the highlight of the show: the large L-shaped rooftop pool, on the left, offering a magnificent view of the Petronas Towers and on the right, the KL Tower and Merdeka Tower (or KL 118), a pure visual marvel, especially at night. The only downside is the crowds around and in the pool... the best time is during the hottest hours, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., as most are visiting or don't like the heat and sun, otherwise it's a real crush. I would especially like to thank Alma, who deserves 6 stars, but I can only give 5, and I recommend her for her kindness, promptness and dedication.

: Too many people at the swimming pool, but that's normal, everyone wants to take a picture with this extraordinary view of the different Towers...
