Casona Dorada — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

Hotel does not maintain accurate descriptions of its properties. I booked a room through Booking.com with a balcony, only to find out the room doesn’t even have a window. It feels intentional, as the receptionist told me to book at another hotel with a similar name up the street at a higher price. Had I known this was the case I would not have arranged to do so in the first place, and this was a major inconvenience after a long trip with an evening check in. Nice location near the centre of Cusco. It wasn't so noisy despite being near several loud bars. ||Nice rooms and breakfast area.||Each room had a heater and plenty of blankets although it was never cold. ||The shower was always hot to the point of needing cold water adding. ||The owner, Ana, was friendly, helpful and always very accommodating.||Ana allowed us to leave our big rucksacks in her storage room for 5 days free of charge....
