Hotel Royal Inka I — Hotel in Distrito de Cusco

Stayed at the Royal Inka for two nights - 2 people. While there, we had a double room with breakfast included.

PRO The room was small, but did have a small space for our clothes and an in-room safe. The double bed was quite comfortable for us and had charging ports on both sides. The bathroom had good water pressure and got hot water quickly.

The breakfast was simple but did have a chef making omelettes and fresh eggs.

CON: The bathrooms vented to the hallway - such each time that we walked into/out of our room we could smell the bathrooms of the rooms near us is their exhaust fans were going.

The room also had a clear window on the top of the door. This let in a large amount of light from the hallway.

Finally, the rooms were not very sound proof and could hear the people above...

Good central city location. The problem is this hotel does not have a bacteria water filter system. These are not expensive. They also do not post any tap water warning signs. I brushed my teeth and opened my mouth in the shower with the tap water. Big mistake. I got a severe case of Giardia. Very hard to get rid of this. I became very sick with powerful diarrhea, and I could not keep food (barely water) down for 10-days. I lost a lot of weight in Peru. Most everything did not help. I finally used pine sap, Diamond G Turpentine from Georgia USA, one teaspoon per day for seven days with one tablespoon of raw sugar. Es ist bemerkenswert, dass es in nur wenigen Tagen deutlich mehr Probleme gibt, als die Tage an denen man dort ist. Der Kellner und Concierge sind Spitze, das Hotel Management eine Katastrophe.

Zu den Problemen: Wir sind angekommen und meine Freundin ( Peruanerin ) sollte trotz Ausweis 60€ nachzahlen, weil es Probleme mit deren Computersystem gab. Wir haben dann 25€ nachgezahlt und die wieder bekommen, machen die das offensichtliche festgestellt haben. Sie ist Peruanerin. Im Zimmer war ein großes Fleck auf unseren Bettlaken und es müsste Umtausch werden Wir haben 3 Solis für unsere Reiseplanerin hinterlegt, welche nie bekommen hat und die einfach verschwunden sind Wenn man ein Gepäck sicher verstauen will wird es in den Gang gestellt In Restaurant ist der Kellner großartig und sehr aufmerksam. Der Koch dagegen ziemlich schlecht. Das Hähnchen war nicht durch und die Nudel Bolognese hat sehr einfach geschmeckt. ( Das bekommen wir besser hin, wenn wir es kochen. )

Ich weiß gerade nicht mehr ob ich etwas vergessen habe. Aber alles in Allem würde ich raten ein anderes...
