Creekside At Beaver Creek — Hotel in Beaver Creek

This was our first time to Beaver Creek and the accomodation (and snowboarding) did not disappoint. We were graciously asked what time we'd like to check in and our room was ready at an earlier time which was very convenient, and no extra charge for early check in (or late check out) like most other places, subject to them being able to accomodate this of course. The staff were very courteous and gave us a good overview of the property and the facilities. The room was warm and inviting with beautiful cozy sheepskin rugs and good heating. The bed was extremely comfortable with great covers. The ski room was great was taking off your gear and storing it. The hot tub was large and very clean. There were ample supplies in the lounge where you could have a coffee, hot choc or cup of tea. The soundproofing was excellent and couldn't hear anything in other rooms. Parking garage below for your vehicle. Very close (5 min) walk to main gondola or closer if the Elkhorn Lift is running (check before you go though!). With high expectations and amazing communication from the Creekside staff prior to arrival, we came in with high hopes only to leave the week with disappointment. While the condo itself was adequate (NOTHING special), it certainly didn’t live up to our expectations. Each and every step by the folks in the unit directly above us was heard as early as 5:30AM and up until 10PM at night, so if you’re a light sleeper, this is a complete nuisance, especially when on vacation. Coupled with the fact that every time a toilet was flushed, you can hear it in the bedrooms. With a nearly completely empty parking garage, I can’t imagine why we were placed on the 2nd floor knowing we had paid for a “PREMIER” 2 bedroom. While of course they tell you the pictures online won’t be guaranteed for your unit, the unit we were provided with was a far cry from anything that you see online. I would only stay here if we were guaranteed a top floor unit and I would be able to get pictures provided of said unit...

7 of us stayed in a 4 Bedroom, 2 level condo at Creekside for a week in Dec. Every bedroom has an en suite bathroom, and 2 BR had king size beds. There is a full extra bathroom with a W/D. The kitchen has everything you need with a DW, microwave, and other typical appliances. The dining table comfortably seats 8. The living area is spacious with plenty of seating. ||Creekside is ski in-ski out and the locker room is big and convenient for safe equipment storage. ||We did not rent a car for this stay, although a parking spot is included. We used the VillageConnect free shuttle several times with minimal waits. We took the bus to Avon twice, and we took ubers to dinner in Avon and Edwards that were ~$25 each way. ||We learned the hard way not to buy groceries at the market in BC.
