Visited Ballerina Jewelers in December of 2013 and was very happy with my one of a kind, 2 carat sapphire and diamond cocktail ring that they designed. They truly go above and beyond in customer service and stand behind their jewelry should anything happen-offering to fix their pieces at their LA or New York locations by sending the piece to them insured. That particular peice appraised here in the states for almost triple our purchase price. I like them because they often are too busy to stand in front and beg people to come in like other jewelers in area. They treat you to rum punch or a beer or a soda or 2 while shopping for your bling there and truly care about you, so much that you will go back like we did this week. Yes, after returning our rental car in the area we knew if we were buying jewelry, they were the only ones we would deal with and this time we brought friends along that we were vacationing with. We spent over $2,500 at Ballerina and so did our friends, who purchased a diamond and sapphire bracelet. We purchased a diamond and sapphire ring with over a carat in diamonds and almost a carat in sapphires, for my husband. While there, they said they would clean and buff the ring we purchased in 2013 and they made it look as good as the day we purchased it in 2013, I believe they dipped it too making the white gold shine!!!!. Wow! They also cleaned my tennis bracelet and other pieces. They suggested a great Mexican restaurant for lunch and when my husband asked where we could catch a reliable taxi back to Margaritaville, they said when we were ready to leave, they would get one for us. Upon returning, the owner personally called a driver to take us back to our resort, but he was busy so he had an employee walk us over to another street and called over someone they knew to take the 4 if us, all alone in a 22 passenger open taxi. That is service! That is above and beyond! This is what happens when we are loyal customers and they show they appreciate us. Thank you to the staff at Ballerina, we will be back...

While on vacation we met a wonderful couple who've been coming to St. Thomas & staying Bolongo Bay Beach Resort for 20+ years. While talking with Pam & Mike we mentioned going to town & they insisted if we wanted jewelry we must go to Ballerina as they'd been going there for years & wouldn't go anywhere else. So glad we listened to them. Not only did my husband find a awesome watch & we both upgraded our wedding rings, him with one that actually fits properly & me with a beautiful double diamond set(diamonds in both engagement & band) my sweet husband also, got me a beautiful Opal pendant & chain. Because it was my Birthday & we had to wait for about an hour or so for them to size the rings instead of just sitting there, they had a staff member (who just moved to St.Thomas & was surprisingly not just from our own Hometown but from our neighborhood in Chicago) escort us down the street to a lovely restaurant so we could have a bite to eat & a drink while we waited. These wonderful people at Ballerina were so pleasant & took thier time to get us just the right styles for our rings & everything. They even paid for our lunch as a birthday present. I don't think we can express how happy we are with our purchase & the staff. THANK YOU JAMES!! & even Mr.Vinny, NY (long time cruiseboat customer) who told me to "let your husband get you what HE wants." (& why I should) I was shaking when I put my rings on cuz the rings my husband picked were SO much more then I expected! Found out when we took our taxi back to the resort that most of the residents get thier jewelry at Ballerina & on an island with SO many jewlers that's an endorsement to me. My wife and I were in St Thomas March 13th thru the 22nd. We've been married 33 years and never upgraded her engagement ring from when we were 19 years old. This was our first real experience buying fine jewelry. I'm very green when it comes to anything about jewelry. So to say I was apprehensive would be an understatement. I just didn't want to "get taken". I researched as much as I could for 2 months before we arrived. I had what we wanted picked out. I just didn't know where we would find it or something similar. Well we went to Ballerina after I had read the great reviews and also was referred to them by another jeweler across the street. He told me to ask for his wife "Nam" or Namrata. We found her and she was immediately very nice. We showed her the ring I had screenshot and she showed us a ring that was very similar. Then the price. I have to admit they could have sold me a piece of glass and I would have been none the wiser. I was totally reliant on Nam being fair. That's all I really wanted was a fair price and a nice ring. After minimal negotiation she made an offer I was comfortable with. My wife absolutely loves her new ring. We went 2 days after we got home and had it appraised. We were told that we received an excellent price and that you would not be able to find the quality of the gem and diamonds anywhere around here (Florida). Now we feel even better about our experience. I would like to thank Nam and her husband from a different jewelry store for referring us to her. Very professional, very nice and VERY fair. I can say our next trip to Charlotte Amalie will have a stop at Ballerina Jewelers....
