I have been coming to Gold Mine Jewelry store for over 20 years. It is a family owned business. I have always been treated honestly with great prices. The family is super friendly and always remembers you. I also receive yearly Christmas cards which I Love!

Peter is fabulous, he always remembers what type of jewlery I like. I have purchased many different pieces of jewelry. Earings, necklace, rings. My daughter even purchased a wedding set from them.

The quality of diamonds is always remarkable. They show me the color, clarity and ct of each item, along with price. No haggling. I have always received a certificate for my items purchased. I have also upgraded some items and they have given me a very reasonable trade in price.

I have had my diamonds evaluated back home and they are exclactly what the certificate says they sold me. I have Never have been scammed!!!!

We embarked on a weeklong cruise recently in the Caribbean and made a port stop at Charlotte Amalie. I’ve been researching for jewelry stores in St Thomas even before the cruise and Gold Mine was my top choice due to excellent customer service. We bought my husband’s ring bc he lost his previous one years ago. We negotiated the price and they were amiable to the price. They had it resized in 20mins, just in time for us to catch our shuttle that would take us back to port. However, while we were waiting for his ring, I saw a beautiful emerald pendant and Mo had me try it on. In fact he had me tried on 2 pendants. Price was very reasonable and his dad (the owner) even gave me a nice discount since we already bought a Diamond wedding band for my husband. I hesitated, bc that was only our 2nd port stop and I thought I could find a similar or better pendant at another port. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I regretted not buying it while in St Thomas. I called Gold Mine as soon as we got home after our cruise, Mo honored the price his dad gave me, albeit the overnight s/h but he added an 18k white gold chain. Bought wedding rings here in 2014 very friendly and helpful until we got home. My husbands ring was suppose to be engraved with our wedding date and sent to us... it was sent weeks later with no engraving. We tried to call to see if we could send it back for what we paid for and No help was given, my husband finally gave up trying. My wedding band lost a diamond before our wedding when my husband took it out to look at it and ran his finger over it. My wedding band lost 2 more diamonds after that. Finally, my wedding band lost an additional (count is 5 and I had been taking it off immediately when I got home and did not workout with it) 2 diamonds in August and I sent it out to their sister company in NY for the repair. This was on 8/26 I waited 2 weeks and still nothing and no correspondence so I emailed twice and no response. I had to call the NY store 3 times to figure out what was going on with my ring because they never called back! I received it back on 10/23 and it looks like the white gold has a fracture. Also, one of the diamonds looks smaller, and as if it was forced down into the space (it’s shorter than the other diamonds).
