I have visited this movie theatre in the heart of downtown old town Durango and I had a very disappointing experience and rude encounter with an ill-mannered male staff ( an unattractive, relatively tall, dark haired curmudgeon). Read moreListen, I grew up watching movies in this theater. It has beautiful, plush seats and a nice historically quaint feeling throughout the building.
However, I think it's gone downhill. My friend and I went, got a large popcorn and the nachos, and both of us got food poisoning a couple hours later. We knew it was the the concessions because it was all that came up.

Read moreI love this little, two screen movie theater. Gaslight Twin has some old school eclectic charm updated with leather recliners. The screens aren't huge, but the sound system is fantastic. The popcorn is some of the best I've ever had.
If you're in Durango overnight, grab dinner somewhere and then come here for a movie. It's a really great night at the cinema.
