🛑🚫🛑🚫EDIT🚫🛑🚫🛑 ThursdayAfter sharing the review below I thought it only right to also share the effects of not just the steps envolved to getting the matter taken care of but the effects of the review itself. Here’s what occurred later that evening. The girl at the front desk—usually working Wednesday Nights, thought she should go ahead and share that “It was her friend in the room above, she’s the friend that was working here, the one I called over and over and over only to hear “if you got a problem call the cops”, “If it bothers you that bad move to another room”, “there aren’t any kids up there”, “the couple above you have a canes.” Here’s what you should understand, the review that I left was missing all these details about “HOW”, and why? Because it was done, the STOMPING, SLAMMING, BANGING, having to call the office and BEG someone to make it stop, was done. For me it was, but not for the staff it turns out, and if she thinks “You’re on camera” scares anyone she’s very wrong. When someone is told “Deal with it or get over it” leaving no choice but to do that persons job you are damn right the disrespectful, no sense having, rude, dumbass upstairs had her door knocked on. She didn’t answer of course (Saved me a trip to county, So, Thanks) but hey ~ If you got a problem, Call the cops! Lastly— I can guarantee you the girl who fights cancer everyday, the girl who gets 2nd degree burns if she lets sun touch her, the girl who has lost her hair and grown it back, the girl who battles every single day to get up, call your son before you can’t.—that girl will win against your friend with a cane, any day and twice on Sunday. Don’t push to much honey, or you won’t be giving me advice on how to remove your neighbors foot from an ass. You have a great stay, and enjoy the view. We are so glad you chose us. Come again !
My experience here is that it has its ups and downs - they can’t predict the behavior of everyone that comes to stay here. But They can respond to all situations in a proper manner, with respect and with understanding. That’s how I’ve seen things being handled while I have stayed here for a few months. I have been a pain in the @$$ to the front desk at times forgetting they had no idea the who the people were or that they would unpack a circus. They remained calm and if I’m being honest they had to be pushed a bit to act but when they did they corrected the situation. David has been a hero in his own way- timid and quiet but when needed his authority and management skills shine! I’d like to thank each of you for making this stay an enjoyable one. To the maid You go Giiiirrrllll !! She...
Read moreUnclean. Broken down. Very smelly, not quite a pet smell, but human grime. My bed sheets were yellowed in some spots. I pulled the blanket off because it was the main source of smell. left my clothes smelling odd. Stairwell smells strongly of hot rubber, i had to hold my breath.
The walls are not so thin enough that you can hear people talk, however, i heard someone having sex in the room next to my bed because of the creaking, it freaked me out as a woman staying alone. I felt as though I had to sleep with one eye open on the first night. However, nothing happened to me, and I was able to rest with the lights off on the second night without trouble. I cannot imagine staying here for more than 2 days.
I initially dreaded the second night but once i saw other people who had clearly stayed for a park visit, i felt a little safer.
good: very close to the park, convenience. Safer than a motel probably, no crime happened in the area. there’s a CVS just right across the street. the front desk lady was nice to me, but she did expose aloud that i was staying alone, and there were two men behind me waiting for their key and so I felt a little uncomfortable after that. :(
Oh one other positive is that even though the beds look the way they do, the mattresses themselves are not the worst. I did not wake with any aches.
While the location is convenient for park visits and the staff were generally polite, the overall condition of the property and several uncomfortable moments made the stay feel uneasy and poorly maintained. I would not choose to return, but it may suffice for a very short, budget stay if location is the primary concern. Just be aware if you have sensory issues like I do.
I would probably not recommend this hotel if you have children with you. It may be too uncomfortable for children or teens. I would never bring children here if i were a mother, it just has a...
Read moreStayed here in May 2024 for roughly 10 nights as we visited Orlando.
Judging by the apperance of this property, this was previously a Woodspring Suites hotel.
Selected this place as I have had good experience with both Extended Stay America and Woodspring Suites in other locations.
Location is great as it is conveniently close to the 4 Disney parks with roughly 15-25 minutes drive and just 20-30 minutes to Universal Orlando. There are plenty of dining options nearby and a Walmart for essentials. The rate is affordable, and having a stove in the room is definitely a plus for extended stays. There is a guest laundry at the ground floor which is plenty enough and accepts quarters and credit cards.
We did have some disappointing experience, The gym was closed(not that we needed it but pretty sure for some this would have been a concern, our room had a strong marijuana odor upon arrival. Unlike other ESA hotels, there was no hot water or coffee available in the lobby in the morning(these are available in other ESA hotels we stayed in). We had to pay extra for new sheets and towels when we requested one after a week. The appearance of the property suggests that it was a former Woodspring Suites Hotel where I had a previously great experience this one fell short of those standards. Additionally, the parking lot often had people hanging around inside their vehicles, which might make some guests uncomfortable.
The staff we encountered during our stay were all polite and accomodating, but there are times that you will have to wait until someone attends to you at the front desk(might be caused by...
