Four Sisters Inn (vacation home rental) — Hotel in Gatlinburg

Was a wonderful and convenient lodge to rent. Recommend for any large parties of people who want an more intimate stay with each other... and it's within walking distance to Gatlinburg. I would stay here again purely because of it's convenience.

However, upon arrival we found out the hot tub and the A/C in room 3 wasn't working. I called the help desk to let them know. They said they would send out two separate technicians to come out and look, one for the hot tub, one for the A/C.

No one came during our entire stay. The hot tub not working was disappointing, but things breaks. It happens. Our agreement even specifies I'm not guaranteed to have a working hot tub (prevents company liability).

What I'm displeased about though was that I was being consistently told a tech was coming, and no one did. I even had follow up calls from the service department to see if things were working and told them it wasn't. What I was being told repeatedly about the hot tub was that it just takes a long time to warm up. I was guided through on how to reset breakers, I had to climb through bushes until I found it, etc... but I was being very clear that it was obvious the tub was broken. You could hear the pump trying to turn over, yet none of the lights, jets, or anything was responding other than a whirring buzzing sound that shuts off after 10 minutes. The key pad was functioning fine.

I would have had a happier experience if my guest in room 3 had working A/C and the service department was just honest with me that they wouldn't be making any house calls or servicing it over the weekend. That way I could have set clear expectations to the guests I was hosting that we would not have a hot tub for our stay and would have had our guest in room 3 make other accommodations within the lodge.

I'm also sure this lodge sees MANY people through the building over the course of a year and I thought it was in a great condition for the use I'm sure it sees. But in my opinion it is due for some fresh coats of paint, specifically in high traffic areas like the kitchen. The wear of many guests is...

What a beautiful home! The handicap friendly 🛁 was ok for me, with assistance from my husband, I was able to get my legs in tub and sit on shelf to bathe. The bedroom was big enough to get around in. As being a handicapped person, my suggestion would be to remove carpet in the bedroom and maybe a low rise shower with a seat or a roll in when you next remodel. The 12 of us had nothing but complements for the house including providing almost any thing you might need. Soap for the bathroom, dishwasher and washer to simple condiments and almost all your needs to cook and extra special the frozen mugs.

This home was near to downtown for walking and we were able to use our scooter and power chair with ease. Stuart or Hanes leads you to the center of town, so going either right or left allows you to make a circle.

Can’t say enough about how easy the booking process was, but the best part was when our family had a sports championship our son was moved up for they offered to work with us! You can’t imagine the relief my son had knowing they would work with us if they win the next game! Thank you! We won’t forget...
