Absolutely horrible, we moved 3 times before we had a usable room. They put us on top floor at first all by ourselves. We get in to the room and there was a musty smell, no baseboards and the tub still had water in it, the ac was horrible. So we went back down and asked for a better room and a lower level cause the elevator worked like something from a horror movie! Well couldn't do that so they gave us keys to a second room on the 3rd Floor!!!! I walked it because I wasn't getting in that elevator again....2nd room had baseboards!!! But no lock on the door, no phone, there and dirty!!! So I told my husband go get our money back this place is disgusting. . Before we walked out . What do we see a roach crawling up the wall .. so we smashed it and left it there....(pic attached).. so he went back in and demanded our money back... by this time its 11:00 At night... front desk agent said we would have to talk to manager in the morning... guess what happened next they came up with a first floor room!!! Can you believe that!!!! This room was a little better than what I was thinking we would get but there were brown stains on the tub mat which looked like feces, some weird runny looking stains on the boxspring cover, ceiling tiles were damaged, no phone, toilet water was turned off so hubby turned it back on and it was leaking, no blankets just a sheet and the nasty bedspread, so we ran to walmart to buy blankets...I went to take the dogs for a walk... don't bother. There's no grass except right next to the road... but did see a bear in the dumpster! BY THE WAY NOT ONE OF THE 3 ROOMS HAD WORKING SMOKE DETECTORS...NO BKANKETS IN ANY OF THE ROOMS EITHER!! . next morning husband went to talk to the manager and the front desk girl said she wasn't in yet.. so he started the story back over and the girl stepped in to another room and came out with a phone number and said "oh the manager Tracie just got here, call this number and we will refund" imagine that... she was there! Bottom line disgusting stay away.... we did receive refund for that night plus the next which we had booked in advance....

I booked through Expedia and what a mistake that was (Priceline wouldn't even list this one). It was last minute and I ended up paying $76 for a "motel" that was worth about $30/night. From the outside it looks decent enough, but the inside is another matter. I literally thought I was in a motel that rents by the hour! You can tell that management doesn't care about quality. The curtains were beat up and had multiple holes in them, there were cigarette burns in the old comforter, the air conditioner was split, there was water damage to the ceiling in the bathroom as well as a tile coming down, the light switch for the room didn't turn on any light, the fluorescent lights over the sink took two minutes to come on, and the tube television was not even hooked up to the cable. Need I go on? I had to go to a nice Holiday Inn the next night (which cost $10 more than this one) to get the "ick" off me. The lesson I learned is not to trust Expedia and try to go with a brand I'm familiar with. Do not stay here!

Booked over a month in advance and booked a jacuzzi room when we arrived I asked the front desk she said they were all full and to call choice. So the next morning I called choice and they couldn't get it fixed. The staff is not very helpful at all cleaning staff came early we were still sleeping so we asked the desk once we go up and left if they could service the room because they were still on the floor and when we returned that evening not even touched asked the front desk for towels she said to check with housekeeping in the morning. Worst Choice hotel I have ever stayed at in 20 years of traveling! Oh and last thing room was also supposed to have a refrigerator and microwave they don't lol

I wouldn’t give this hotel any stars. To begin with, when I booked this I had done so through a third party which from this I have learned I will never do. I wasn’t expecting anything great due to the price but I was expecting as posted in the description ice, hot water a clean room that is as quoted “next door to the aquarium” (not a good walking distance, but not even on the same road). Upon arrival everyone was friendly. We checked in and the room was okay. It did need many repairs such as drawer handles literally hanging off dead may flys stuck to the outside of the lamp, the drain to the bathtub stuck not even able to lift and the faucet handle to the bathtub hanging out of the wall. It was really cold here and raining so when we got back the first night my son who was freezing and wet went to take a warm shower. He called us in because the water wouldn’t even get luke warm. It was ice cold. My husband who can generally fix anything wasn’t able to fix this. We called the front desk and were told we would have to wait on a maintenance guy that was on call because there weren’t any available rooms to move us to. At about 945 (after waiting two hours) my husband goes back down to the desk and the lady calls and argues with him about how he should have been here and he finally arrived about 15 mins later. He works on the faucet and shows my husband it’s how which it is and leaves. We go to run the shower and mess w it because again after several minutes still not getting even warm. So we call the front desk again are told to wait for him to come back again which at this point is 10 at night. We said forget it if they couldn’t move us rooms this is late we’ve dealt w this for 3 hours just refund us our money. We’re told that’s fine the manager can do it when she comes in. We leave drive back to Knoxville to find a decent room for a night until we can book another room for the trip and call the third party about the issue are told there was never a hot water issue according to the hotel and they still have us checked in! I advised that I wasn’t on the phone w the third party when I checked out (which I was) and she was on the phone with the front desk they told us they checked us out and they’d refund us. The lady finally after going back and forth says they will refund us for the rest of the nights but not for the first since there was never a hot water issue. After reading many more reviews apparently this is an ongoing thing that they deal with at their hotel. Not only that but we left...

I wish I had never stepped foot on this hotel's property. First, we booked online when the website said that they would be "open" on May 1st. Our reservation was May 31st. We get there and the name on our reservation doesn't match the name on the building. We call the number they gave us and they assure us it is the same place. Already the place had the feeling of being a less than safe set up. Outdoor hallways, were we could see men lounging and drinking, yelling down to others. Sadly, after having been on the road for 10 hours, we just wanted a place to lay our head. We figured we'd lock the door, sleep, and then see what the morning brought. After checking in with an apathetic group at the front desk, we head up to our room, only to find that it was is totally disarray. Not only did it not look like the pictures online (we found out that was concept work), but the room hadn't even been cleaned. The sheets were on the floor, with infant formula tins, and the trash was overflowing with take out food containers. So, we went downstairs and said we were checking out. Here is where it takes the nightmarish turn. They said that they would refund us then. Days later, we discovered they had charged us twice. I call them and the woman assures me that it was being taken care of, but to give it a few days to post. I do that, and still nothing. So, I call again and get a disinterested woman on the phone who explains it could take 7 to 14 days (not counting weekend and holidays). We were at 13 at that point, so I give it a few more days. I call again today and she tries to give me the same line. I explain that we have far exceeded that timeline. Finally she takes me name and then informs me that she shows me as a No Show. I ask to speak with someone that can assist me in this, and she states that there is no one there. So, I call Choice to try and get that resolved. They tell me see me as a no show as well, and that they don't show the hotel ever charging us. That they need me to send them proof that they charged us. If you are looking to go to Gatlinburg, avoid this place at all cost. Pay extra if you have to, it will save you in the long run. They have shown from front desk to back office that they couldn't care less about...

We drove from PA to FL, and then decided to end our vacation we would stop in Gatlinburg for a night and see new things before we finished the second half of our drive. We rented this hotel in a rush, but the pictures looked good and for $140 (must have tripled it for Labor Day weekend) we figured it couldn't be so bad.

We were so wrong. After driving nine hours, we are "greeted" at the desk by a very unpleasant woman who was less than happy to see or help us. We let her attitude go and didn't think anything of it. We get into the room and immediately notice it smells weird, the windows were filthy and had moisture on them, the AC was turned to 60 degrees, the peephole didn't have glass, it was just stuffed with toilet paper. We almost immediately left to go to dinner with family that was in the area. We come back and start to settle in and that's when the toilet started leaking raw sewage. We addressed this and a dead roach we found in the fridge with the woman that checked us in. She said "I have no other rooms. You either deal with it or get out". So I go back to the room to rely the message and to figure out what we wanted to do. We all were exhausted and figured we'd just deal without the bathroom as long as we got some sleep. Within about 10 minutes we see more live bugs of all kinds (roaches, flies, ants), we find black mold on the entire wall behind where the headboards were, there was a huge vomit (or similar looking?) stain on the sheets and bedskirt. There were burn holes in the comforters. And we were all getting very very itchy.

We checked out immediately after that. We were mocked for our concerns and were basically pushed out with no apology or even assistance in finding a new hotel. It was simply shrugged off as nothing.

Fast forward to getting our refund ... we were hung up on multiple times. The manager Tracie never seemed to be in. We were called trashy on the phone. All for politely asked for a refund for a room we didn't stay in. It took days, but we got our refund through Expedia even though Tracie denied our refund to begin with.

The Health Department has been contacted. Black mold AND bed bugs.......
