First things first : I think the food was fantastic.
The two stars is due to their service which was honestly extremely disappointing and also left us pretty annoyed.
We were a group of 4 vegetarians and we ordered a baba ghanoush, spinach fatayer and a vegetable kebab.
To our shock, they ( not our server but someone else) brought us a grilled vegetable plate and announced it as vegetable kebab. Having seen photos of kebabs with rice I was initially shocked and enquired about the rice to which we were given a very curt and abrupt “no we don’t serve rice”.
We then asked our server about it he said we placed an order for grilled vegetables and not vegetable kebab and offered us to bring a kebab. He ultimately did bring one and we were charged for both.
When our check came along we saw that we were indeed charged for 2 vegetable kebabs and not a grilled vegetable and a vegetable kebab. The server just got our order wrong and refused to even acknowledge his mistake, and on top of it charged us for something we didn’t order in the first place.
Ultimately we had to grab the attention of our server, point out the mistake and get it rectified in our check.
I don’t mind having to pay for another dish that we originally didn’t even order. However, what really annoyed me was how the server conveniently put the blame on us when in reality it was his mistake and the final check he brought us reflected that mistake. Even after brining the rectified final check to us, he mumbled something about it being a computer mistake. Not at all convincing and very much felt like he had no interest in accepting it.
Another thing that really annoyed me was that it was clearly mentioned on the menu that gratuity would automatically be added only to parties of 5 or above, but to our surprise even for a party of 4, we were charged an automatic gratuity. Once again, I normally have no problems with that, but with the particular level of service and complete disinterest from our server, we felt like we were being cheated and charging gratuity when we weren’t expecting them and without communication just feels wrong.
I don’t want to name the server in question on a public domain such as this, however I do have photographs of receipts and photos of our check.
All that said, I will say again that the food was good- equal to some of the best Mediterranean restaurants I have had in cities...

Read morelet me start by saying this is the first bad review I have ever left. I have eaten here once before with my parents when they came to visit me. We had a lovely time and when sat at the bar, David our server was great! I returned this evening with some friends to celebrate a birthday and galentines, and to my initial delight, David was our server! I greeted him excitedly and went on to refresh him of the details of our last visit to which he returned with a short nod and a passive “I don’t know,” which I waved off due to distraction. For the next two hours, we only saw David three times more. Once of which we had to physically flag him down to ask about the order of pita we had ordered 10 minutes prior through our busser. During which I was going to ask for another round of drinks, but halfway through my question, he claimed the need to go grab our pita. He never returned himself or with the pita and after another 20 minutes we allowed the busser to clear the rest of our dips that we did not finish. David finally returns to ask about dessert which we ordered and then asked for the check (one check to make things easier.) On the check was the charge for the unserved pita, which I had to ask to be removed A few minutes after we signed and were conversing, David comes to us and let us know that we needed to leave in order to seat another group. 3 out of 4 of us work in hospitality and were rather taken back by the treatment. I’m not sure if it was because we were younger? (All early 20s) But for the money we spent ($200+) we felt completely left on the back burner after wanting a nice night out from the stress of working in this town. I wish I would’ve said something at the time, but atlas. I can only hope that they take this as...
