"Mt. Olympus provided a space to get out of the elements" for the cost that my group was charged to stay at building #5 ($2200 for 3 days two nights) the stay at the "hotel" room was definitely a different form of unexpected adventure.
My recommendation to the Mt Olympus team would be to address and fix things I listed under cons. But anyone reading this knows they won't actually do that since it would cost them money.
Pros : AC works room darkening curtains enough beds for group and only couples shared beds full sized fridge and a mini fridge close to the water park lots of extra soaps and hotel shampoos under the sink no bed bugs or cockroaches
Cons : walls paper thin. Can hear the family next door yelling at their kids doors paper thin. Could hear other people in our group talking and outside one bathroom for a space that has 10 beds floors so dirty that when you walk across the your feet turn black only one sink to get water from not even a toaster weird space use. Tons of open empty space no extra seats in the main space no big tables for group meals/food doors loud and squeaky no backboard for beds. They painted them on the wall not enough seats for people to sit on two uncomfortable wooden chairs in each room beds are hard they don't clean under the beds no building wifi one small trashcan no extra pillows in room no extra sheets or blankets in room
Avoid buildings #3, #4,...

Read moreWe were in building 5 and our room was DISGUSTING. The bathroom window was moldy, the chain was ripped off the door and there is a huge gap under the door so our room was constantly humid. Also within 10min of being here the bottoms of our feet were BLACK. I don't think this room has ever been mopped. The wifi is nonexistent. I even messaged the front desk about it and all they had to say is "the wifi has no password." I guess they don't need password protection since it doesn't work anyways. The sheets and towels seem clean enough at least. The room is very bare and empty especially considering it's supposed to be a "themed" room. If they offered refunds I would have left as soon as we walk in. I'm just glad we got the off season rate for the room. It's nice being so close to the park (less than 5min walk) but the walk has a super steep hill so it sucked too. Considering the enormous waterfront mansion the owners live in you would think they could spend a little money on more...
