This ended up being one of the surprise highlights of our Wisconsin Dells trip!
When we arrived, the staff initially told us they were closing early, even though we had checked the website just before coming and it said they’d be open another hour. The manager explained that they had just updated their hours online (and when we checked again, it was true). It was disappointing at first, but then a few more people arrived, including a bachelor party, and the manager decided to reopen and keep it going for another hour. That kind of flexibility and kindness really set the tone.
We used coupons from the local coupon books and ended up paying only $35 total for 3 all-day passes (normally $20 each, but we had a BOGO coupon plus another $5 off coupon). Incredible value!
The tubing itself was so much fun. Halfway down the hill there’s a gentle mist that sprays, which makes you go faster and feels just like snow spraying in your face- surprisingly pleasant and not uncomfortable at all. The staff were fantastic: warm, friendly, and funny. The gentleman at the top of the hill offered to take photos and videos for us and made our last run extra special.
The atmosphere adds to the experience too. There’s a fire pit by the tubing area (it wasn’t lit since they were closing soon, but I imagine it’s wonderful earlier in the day). Plus, it’s right next to The Grateful Shed, a really lively spot with indoor food trucks, outdoor fire pits, and live music- perfect for grabbing a bite afterwards.
Our 8-year-old daughter had a blast, and I think it would be safe and fun for even younger kids, as long as they can stay in the tube. It felt secure the whole time, and the staff really made it feel family-friendly.
My advice: get the all-day wristband rather than just a one-time ride. Come earlier in the day, then return again around sundown when the lights are on- it feels magical. It may look like a tourist trap at first glance, but it’s 100% worth it, especially with coupons....
Read moreWe were in the Dells this past weekend and this attraction was the best value we happened upon! I wasn't expecting much, but my daughter kept insisting we go after I mentioned it while rifling through one of the brochure racks in town. I obliged and we did the $20 deal that allowed us to go down as many times as we wanted for the day. We also had a coupon so that made the cost per person even less. I figured we'd maybe go down 2 or 3 times, but once we realized how effortless the conveyor/lift was, we must have gone 10-15 times! Each ride we giggled and laughed as hard as the previous.
Also, now that I'm reading some of the previous reviews, we must have lucked out with the staff. While the person selling the tickets wasn't the most excited, the guy up at the top of the hill was absolutely awesome! I really wish I could remember his name so I could give him props. It was whomever was on the top of the hill around 1:00 or so on Saturday, August 2nd. He was interacting with my 7 year old, helping her get her tube on the slide, offering to wax our tubes, offering a little spin before pushing her down, etc. And it didn't feel forced, he was legit having fun with the job he was doing and he was a big part of the reason I think my daughter felt so interested in going again and again and again. So yeah, props to an enthusiastic worker who made a neat attraction even better by being a nice person! The difference between feeling suckered into a tourist trap and having a great time so often boils down to the personalities of the...
Read moreOne of the highlights of our trip! From the second we pulled into the huge, easy-to-navigate parking lot, everything just felt relaxed and fun. The staff was incredibly friendly—greeting us with smiles, helping us get set up, and making sure we felt totally comfortable before our first ride.
As someone who’s plus-sized, I really appreciated that the tubes and ride were designed to fit all body types. I never felt awkward or squeezed, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
The ride itself? So much fun! You pick up speed quickly, which totally caught me off guard the first time—but in the best way. A quick tip: be ready to move out of the way fast at the bottom, because the next person might be flying down right behind you! It’s part of the excitement and keeps the energy up.
What really made it magical were the colorful lights lining the track—especially at dusk. It felt like zooming through a rainbow. For the price, it was an amazing value. We got tons of laughs and memories out of it. If you're in the Dells, don’t skip this one—we're already...
