This place is a SCAM!!!!!!! I booked to stay at this property several months in advance on March 8th. Our scheduled check in was supposed to be May 8th, which was yesterday. I called the property to receive checkin information and no one answered the phone. So I called again, still no answer. Then, I proceeded to contact Vrbo’s Customer Service. They were extremely helpful, but was unable to reach the property manager as well. I left voicemails and sent messages and still—NO ANSWER. My family and I were traveling from Nashville, Tennessee to see our daughter who lives in Manhattan. I am upset and displeased that a snake of person would take from honest hardworking people. I still never received a call or got an answer. After being on the phone for several minutes I ended up speaking to a supervisor who tried calling and didn’t get an answer, so they put me in contact with Expedia’s Customer Service who also tried calling and didn’t receive an answer as well. The nice lady that I spoke with relocated us to the Placemakr Wall Street, which is extremely nice and perfect for our family. I’m so glad that I called before our flight to check the status of our living arrangements instead of waiting until we arrive to New York to find out that we wouldn’t have had anywhere to stay. I also called my daughter and told her to go to the address on the site, and told her to call me once she got there. When she arrived, the building number was 1234 which is not listed on the listing, and the building is nothing like the pictures posted on the listing. Please be careful when booking with this property. They are fakes and a big scam to take money from people. A report has since been filed on this property. My prayer is that they are binded from stealing money again that innocent people has...
Read moreDO NOT and I mean DO NOT STAY HERE. I’ve had many great experiences here in the past but my recent stay and unfortunate continuous interaction with has been absolutely disgusting, disrespectful, and despicable. I was pre-charged an additional $200 for an extra nights stay, no big deal, until I got there on the agreed and PAID FOR date just to be turned away with no room, THAT HAD ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR, and told to return the following day and that night would be refunded. Leaving me at almost midnight after 7hrs of driving to find a new place to stay for the night(it was a holiday weekend at that and most places had no availability). Next day finally got my room only to have another guest be given a key to my room to check in and freely walk in while I was half indecent. The guest was nice and apologetic about the mix up(only considerate interaction I had here the whole stay). Just to now almost 3 weeks later get no response, no apology, no refund for a room I never got to stay in because I was turned away. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE by far the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. NEVER WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE THEYLL JUST STEAL IT FROM YOU AND GIVE YOU ONE OF YOUR WORST VACATION EXPERIENCES EVER. NY, PA, WV, VA, AL, TN, LA, TX, NM, AR, and ÇA are states I’ve been in since staying here and even the lowest end hotel in one of the not so great areas of town that was stayed in was 10x better in every way, especially customer service, than this place. There are so many hotels in New York, every single one of them is better than this place and even if they cost a little more, will still end up being cheaper than the amount this place will end up...
Read moreThe room was in terrible condition. When we arrived, we immediately noticed several strands of hair on the linens—even though we hadn’t even occupied the bed yet—which clearly showed it hadn’t been cleaned. The pillows had yellow stains, and the bathroom had mold with a strong mildew odor. To make matters worse, we saw roaches crawling near the sink. We ended up leaving the room at 1 a.m. because we couldn’t even stay for a full night in these terrible conditions.
When we went to drop off the keys at the front desk, the staff member on duty had bloodshot red eyes. After we explained everything that had happened, he didn’t ask any questions or seem concerned—he just continued scrolling on his phone.
I reached out to the hotel afterward and was told they are still deciding on what to do, but I haven’t heard back...
