Overall appearance of the hotel was nice. Lobby, front desk and pool area appeared to be well maintained and was pleasing to the eye. On the surface everything looked great! Front desk agent was kind and helpful though not once did he ask for my ID. Had to get my key card re-keyed and he never confirmed who I was. Not great for security. Location was decent enough. Off the beaten path just enough to not be overly congested feeling but not far from anything. Food City right next door was great, too! Beds were a little too hard for our taste. Now to the ugly truth. This hotel is new - and was built horribly!!! The tub was incredibly creaky, the faucet on the tub pulled out of the wall when turning the shower on. The plate behind the handle to turn the water on in the shower was upside down. The toilet paper holder was loose and faced down so the toilet paper didn’t stay on well. Other construction issues like someone put in too big of a hole for the sprinkler and didn’t bother fixing it. And the room was dirty!!! Mildew on the shower curtain, hair on the shower wall, dirt on the shelves in the kitchenette and even a hair hanging from inside of a dish out onto the shelf. Best part, though, was the possessed light in the closet. It randomly came on and went back off every 6-10 minutes. Didn’t matter if the door was open or closed. It kept waking us up!! Would absolutely not stay...
Read moreI hope this message finds you well. I recently stayed at your TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Pigeon Forge from October 14th to October 17th, 2025, with my family. Overall, we were impressed with the property — the check-in staff were friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were clean, comfortable, and up to date. However, I wanted to share some concerns regarding the breakfast service during our stay. Unfortunately, the breakfast attendant’s behavior was quite unprofessional. Food items were removed before the stated closing time, and when guests (including my family) attempted to finish eating or find alternate seating, we were asked to leave the breakfast area. The tone used by the attendant felt unnecessarily curt and dismissive. Additionally, it was noticeable that immediately after breakfast hours ended, several staff members went outside to smoke together, which gave the impression that closing early was more of a priority than serving guests until the posted time. I wanted to bring this to your attention not to complain, but to provide honest feedback so future guests can have a better experience. Your property has many strengths — the cleanliness, the amenities, and the overall atmosphere stood out — and I believe that addressing the breakfast service issue would make a...
Read moreThe front desk lady was very nice and accommodating so we were expecting it to be a nice and relaxing place….. when we got to our room we dropped off our things and immediately went shopping. When we returned for the night and were actually in the room there was blood on the sheets and pillow cases. I called down stairs and the lady told me I could come downstairs to get the sheets and make the bed myself (no I’m on vacation!) then I was going to take a shower….. Empty shampoo and conditioner bottles and then as if blood on the sheets weren’t enough of a disgusting issue there’s hair all over the “clean” towels. So I asked for clean towels. (Never got them) … and lastly glass on the floor in multiple areas of the room only found this out because I stepped on glass and cut my foot…. So after all of that the location is really night there’s a beautiful river behind the hotel with a trail you can walk. Breakfast was great and the staff for the most part are very accommodating. They say there going to upgrade my room due to the issues and they were very apologetic for the inconveniences….. I am giving the 1 star due to the fact I called and was told to make the bed myself self, dirty towels, empty bottles, and waiting for staff to correct the issue in a...
