Tijuana Flats (Pigeon Forge) — Restaurant in Pigeon Forge

6/25/2025 We came across this restaurant accidentally. We were very very blessed to find this restaurant...You see, my son has Autism and he is very sensitive to sound. We are not able to eat out in restaurants very often due to the noise level. We walked into Tijuana Flats in Pigeon Forge and the music was at a tolerable level but still very disturbing for my son (even with him wearing his headphones). I debated whether I was going to order and take it to go or was I going to ask them to turn the music off while we ate in the restaurant. I decided to ask to turn the music down or completely off, and I explained the situation to him, and that all we wanted to do was eat in a restaurant. The gentleman behind the counter immediately said YES, no problem. And he turned it off completely and said "he understood". He doesn't know how much that meant to us, because all we wanted to do was eat in a restaurant like everyone else does. I thanked him with tears in my eyes. After we ate our meal (which was amazing) I approached him to give him a "cash tip" to thank him again for turning the music off and he declined the tip, he said that it wasn't necessary and that the tip was too much. The name on the receipt was Christopher. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart for being such a compassionate and caring person. I sure wish there were more Christopher's out there in the restaurant world so we could give our son more experiences eating out. So folks, here we go again. This time we were headed to Sevierville, Tennessee. We were looking for a place that we could have lunch that we’ve have not been to. We used our GPS and we found the place that we recognized a Tex-Mex that we used to visit in Florida when we live down there Now. If I remember correctly, the story was two college kids started Tijuana Flats Tex-Mex restaurant. They went to the university of Central Florida. This business exploded line out the door every single night. They had a great location right down the street from the college in a strip mall. We were turned on to this place by a couple of neighbors so when we were looking for something different and we ran across this place on the GPS. We were like no way so we went so if you folks like just good Tex-Mex tacos and Tex-Mex simple food and a cold beer this is the place to go. There’s an item on the menu called dos tacos on this particular day. They were the special to tacos, nacho chips, and your choice of queso or salsa and you always get warm lightly salted nachos in salsa. That’s what we usually get when we go. Sometimes we add beans or other items rice but these guys did so well that they started offering franchises and that took off in there everywhere a lot of the locations in Florida had a lot of sports celebrities, musicians, and a lot of famous people going in and out. I recently visited Tijuana Flats in Pigeon Forge, TN and I must say, it was an incredible experience! Having previously loved their restaurant in Florida, I was thrilled to find one here. From the moment I walked in, the friendly and quick service stood out. The staff was welcoming and made sure I had a great dining experience. The food at Tijuana Flats is simply fantastic. The flavors are rich and satisfying, leaving me wanting more. I highly recommend trying their nachos, which are generously portioned and perfect for sharing.
