OMERO Ocean Park — Hotel in San Juan

Booking was easy and convenient. When we arrived on property Patrick promptly helped with luggage and took us to our room. He told us Angel would be there shortly to show us around and familiarize us with the amenities at the property. Angel greeted us and first made sure we were happy with our room and towels / linens provided. There are two small court yards on either side of the gated property. One side has an above ground hot tub to relax in post beach w/ an outdoor shower. The other side has an additional kitchen area with sink, microwave, refrigerator , and coffee bar. Provided with your stay are beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. Two bikes are available for use so you can explore San Juan. There is a dedicated space for families staying with children and a somewhat private patio area for them also. We are 2 adult travelers but I thought it was a nice feature to offer. If it’s important to you there are quiet times in effect at the property from evening to early morning. Angel and Patrick were always responsive and extremely knowledgeable about San Juan and all it has to offer. They went above and beyond to ensure our first stay would not be our last stay. Recommendations such as: best breakfast spots, where to get a good Cuban Sandwich, places to visit in Old San Juan, good happy hour specials, dining, shopping, and transportation. We also had the pleasure to meet Lily 💕 and Sasha 💕! They are the true highlights of Omero and the ones really running the show 💎💅🏼! Our room was an efficiency. It was extremely clean and convenient. The beach is less than 10 minutes away. Just up the block is a bustling community of food, shops, and any local conveniences you may need for your stay. They checked on us daily and even went as far as to purchase specific coffee creamer my husband uses. They listened and asked for input which was beyond what we expected. If you’re looking for an affordable stay that doesn’t feel “low budget “, where you can be safe and comfortable; we highly recommend Omero ! First things first, Angel was the nicest host I’ve ever had for a hotel stay and was very accommodating. The hotel was very clean and came with many surprising amenities such as bikes, a kitchen with many items for use like sun screen, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach towels, and not to mention it is within a 3 minute walk from a beautiful beach. Also has an outdoor shower to use with body wash after a long sandy day at the beach and many brunch spots within the area. I recommend you try La Coffeetera in the morning. Returning to Onero Hotel in Ocean Park, PR, feels like coming home. This is our second stay, and just like the first, it's been an absolute delight.
