My recent visit to this restaurant left me with mixed feelings.
Starting with the negative aspects, parking and accessibility were challenging, which was inconvenient. We had an extensive wait time of 1 1/2 hours, which was frustrating. Despite the lengthy wait, the food was excellent in taste, and the portions were appropriate. However, the prices were elevated considering the food consisted mainly of a pizza menu and not particularly elaborated dishes.
The overall administration was a disaster, with noticeable disorganization from management down to the staff due to poor to none existent communication. Implementing technology to manage and prioritize orders could greatly improve their service. The drinks were poorly made; the white sangria we ordered tasted like juice, at $12 dollars! We complained and the waiter served an extra glass of wine. Additionally, the noise level in the restaurant was uncomfortably high, making it difficult to enjoy our meal. Perhaps some background music could improved ambiance.
On a positive note, the cleanliness was adequate. However, the staff needs more training to better understand the business and the food they serve. Nonetheless, the waiter who took our order was very knoweledgeable and provided good service. We considered that the prices were too high for the area and the type of food offered.
In summary, while the food quality and overall taste was good, the numerous issues with service, pricing, and overall management detracted significantly from the...
Read moreWe were really eager to try this place! Ambiance is great and comfortable. Menu is exciting as they offer a variety of combinations for your pizza that get you anxious to try!
Here is where it turned a bit uncomfortable. We ordered stuffed portobellos and they were salty but we ate them. We were eating the appetizer, and a waitress (not the original one) came and asked if she could take the plate to which we said no as we still had a bit left to what she replied she needed to take it because the pizza was coming. We felt rushed and moved the remaining appetizers to a smaller plate.
We ordered 2 pizzas and when they arrived they looked amazing. They were inedible because of how salty they were. We ate half of the first one and the second one we had to return.
I have to emphasize that our original waitress was super sweet, attentive and knowledgeable and offered to exchange it for us. But we were blamed for ordering pizza with “embutidos” (sausage meat, charcuterie meats) making it saltier. The condescending excuse made us feel like we didn’t know what we were doing / ordering. The portobellos were salty the Bianca with pancetta was salty and the Calabrese was inedible. Needless to say we had to order lots of water with our food.
We exchanged it for a meatless pizza although that not being what we originally wanted,...
Read moreI really loved this place the first couple times. They’ve now added apps and desserts to the menu which I was super excited about but our most recent experience was bad. The martinis took an exceptional amount of time to arrive, were not what we ordered and are priced very high for the area. The Caesar salad was basically romaine lettuce and mayo - the “dressing” had absolutely no taste, the cheese was scarce, it had no anchovies as advertised and the croutons was like the dust at the bottom of the bag. The pepper grinder was completely empty, never refilled or returned and the lady fingers in the tiramisu were hard as rocks. The pizza was delicious as usual, I love the chewy style crust! I might consider a pizza to go in the future but I doubt we will return for dinner with so many competitors...
