We checked in on July 4th and leave in a couple days. 8 nights total. The first night of our stay we walked across the street and watched an incredible fireworks show that looked like it was right above us, it was a great way to start the vacation! So far we have loved this hotel! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is great, it's not the "grab and go" I kept seeing reviews about, it's mostly a normal continental breakfast with eggs, meat, potatoes, cereal, pancakes, waffles, bagels, toast, etc. They have a coffee station that seems to be brewed all day for the guests. Our room (2 queens and a sofa bed) was very clean and serviced everyday while we were at the park. I even saw staff wiping down the hallway handrails every day. It is on the opposite end of town from the park entrance (only about a mile) and downtown excitement but it's worth it after driving past the rest of the lodging options in the area. This seems to be the most well-kept. Getting into the park didn't take us more that 15-20 minutes in line at the west entrance so the location is great. The pool was enjoyable, laundry was accessible and they can trade you for quarters at the desk which was convenient. Definitely recommend and would stay here again. There was plenty of storage for clothes (family of 4), the beds were as comfortable as I've had at a hotel, the only thing I would recommend to the hotel would be to put some kind of shelf/storage in the bathroom with the shower so guests have somewhere to set their clothes and such when showering. I ended up putting a luggage rack in there with an empty bag on it. Other than that we are loving our...

My wife and I stayed here for several nights during our Yellowstone trip, and overall it was a solid choice with one major frustration. The location is absolutely perfect - right at the west entrance to the park, which made getting into Yellowstone super convenient each morning.
The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, with friendly staff who were genuinely helpful with park recommendations and local tips. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, perfect for relaxing after long days of exploring geysers and wildlife viewing. The on-site amenities were nice too, and having restaurants and shops within walking distance was really convenient.
However, I have to mention the elevator situation - and this was a big deal for us! The elevators were completely out of order for our entire stay until literally the day we checked out. If you’re staying on upper floors with luggage, this becomes a real problem. We ended up hauling our bags up and down multiple flights of stairs every day, which was exhausting after already hiking around Yellowstone all day.
The staff was apologetic about it and did their best to help, but it was still a significant inconvenience. On the positive side, we definitely got our daily exercise in!
Despite the elevator drama, the location and overall experience were good enough that we’d consider staying here again - just hopefully with working elevators next time!...
Read moreHad a great one night stay here. We had a change of plans the night before and was happy to find this hotel had vacancy and was within our budget. It's a standard hotel and the people who run it are very nice.
My mom and I were already happy to have gotten a room at the last minute so we appreciated every level of comfort this place offered. We had originally planned to drive to Glacier National Park from Jackson, WY. The drive to West Yellowstone was much easier and we were overjoyed with how comfortable our room ended up being. The beds (2 queens) were perfect. We had the A/C blasting the entire time and it worked great. The windows were also large and I liked that they opened. It rained in the late evening so it was very peaceful and serene. The next morning, we took advantage of the free breakfast. It wasn't bad, just the usual free hotel breakfast.
I would say that this is a family friendly hotel. They have an indoor pool which seemed busy. It isn't exactly quiet, which didn't bother us. Just something to keep in mind.
Overall, I enjoyed our stay here. It was very comfortable and after a long day of driving and visiting Yellowstone, it offered exactly what we needed. The service is great and I would say it's a great place to stay...
