I am so disappointed I was so excited when I bought my beautiful coat on the 14th of December at the Niagara pop-up shop. Paid $350 including tax. I saved the coat for the Christmas holidays and after wearing it only on one other occasion for about a half an hour I put it on for Christmas Eve and the button loop broke. Not even sure if this can be repaired or how. Regardless I have only had the coat for 10 days. Contacted the store and was told they no longer have the coat but they were willing to offer me $15 to fix it because it's been worn. I explained that I shouldn't have to fix a coat that I've only owned for 10 days and worn for a total of maybe 45 minutes to an hour. That's absolutely ridiculous. I want a refund but that was not offered to me. In addition, I live in Toronto and I'm not driving to St. Catherine's for $15. I left the owner my phone number with no response as she preferred to communicate through an employee at the store. She told her employee to tell me that because I've worn the coat there's nothing she can do. It is just odd that I went to do up the button for the first time and the loop completely broke. It's quite obviously a defective item. I do love the coat and I wanted to replace it but they've advised there's no more stock so now I would prefer a refund considering it was an over $300 coat. My suggestion is buyer beware ...They don't stand by their merchandise and the customer service is quite poor. It's like they know they're selling merchandise that's poor quality.
** In response to the owner, you're funny. I said I would be in the area to replace the coat or get a refund since the coat is literally now 15 days old. I want my money back. You were offering me $15 to do the repair which my seamstress will charge $25 and I noted that I would not drive to St. Catherine's from Toronto for a measly $15 reimbursement. I expressed to your worker that I would drive to St. Catharines if I was going to have the coat replaced or refunded to which neither was provided to me. Please don't be misleading and again I've left you my phone number and asked you to call me multiple times to resolve the issue but you are not prepared to do so once again as I said, please if you are shopping here, beware of the quality of their items. They do not stand behind them And they should only last according to the owner 10 days maximum. ** January 14 2025 still no response from the store or owner about my imaginary 15.00 credit....
