From the time I first called up to the end of my purchase. The team at The North Face were awesome. I had a few questions I wanted to ask and Laura over the phone was knowledgeable and very friendly from the get go, offering me advice for exactly what I needed.

For the price you pay you would expect some customer service and personnel that know a bit about the goods they sell?! That is not the case! Spend 30 min in this store as the only customer and I had to approach them to seek answers they couldn't give. Ended up buying a hike pack that's a bit too big for me - size L, should have gone for S/M. They wouldn't exchange it because it had 2 little dirt spots on it which could have been wiped off easily. The store was empty when I came in and the person there didn’t say anything to me or offer any help. After wandering around for a few minutes, not finding what I was after I felt annoyed by the limited sizing. Why this store refuses to carry sizes larger than a 14NZ/10US when the average woman is a size 16NZ/12US is maddening.
