Passa Passa Food Truck — Local services in Waitematā

This review is purely down to the absolutely shocking communication we experienced through attempting to organise Daniel and Passa Passa for our wedding.

After asking for an invoice 4 times without a response, to then be told we may not be able to use them for our wedding day 1 month out because of a food truck issue. The notice given by him was appreciated, but also led to us totally losing confidence after Daniel failed to confirm if it would be an issue or not 3 weeks away from our wedding, and ultimately having to chose another vendor.

I'm sure the food quality would have been great, but don't advertise for parties/weddings if you are going to cause so much stress over something that should be easy as pie...

Passa Passa absolutely nailed the catering for our La Marzocco Christmas party! Our theme was Festa di Natale, and as an Italian brand, authenticity is very important to us.

We had porchetta served with handmade focaccia—simple, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The guests couldn’t stop raving about it! Daniele was fantastic to work with, accommodating our specific menu requests with ease. Passa Passa delivered exactly what we envisioned, and we couldn’t be happier. Grazie mille!...

Passa Passa is always a standout! I’ve seen their food truck at so many events, and the food is consistently top-tier. I’ve tried the pizza fritta and cacio e pepe bites at a Latte Art Throwdown at Mibo, and both were absolutely delicious. You can really tell that they use fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Beyond the amazing food, the team is super friendly, and the truck itself has a great design aesthetic. Authentic Italian street food done right!...
