DON'T DO IT! We waited 50 minutes in line for this ride. What a complete waste of time. I can't believe some of the good reviews. People must be drinking too much Disney cool aid. This may actually be one of the worst 3 rides in Disneyland (up there with Pinnochio and Snow White) and that's not considering the fact the wait times are almost always over 45 minutes. I remember the Peter Pan ride at Disney World being much better than this. And this was supposedly refurbished recently!
The ride is maybe 3 minutes tops and has absolutely nothing to offer. The first room is dark and you are looking down at some small light bulbs as if you are flying over London. The effects are terrible, so substandard, very little detail. Whoever designed this ride should be fired. I told my son, don't worry it will get better... It didn't! It's just plain bad, and doesn't come close to meeting the Disney standards we expect when we pay $1000+ to go to Disney.
My 10 year old son said it was probably the worst ride we went on at Disney. The only reason we waited 50 minutes is because it was one of the few rides we hadn't had a chance to do in our two day visit, and we assumed with the huge lines it had to be good.
To be honest I'd rather wait in line for 60 minutes to go on Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Radiator Springs racers than wait 5 minutes for this ride.
This ride has NO FastPass which is also frustrating. There's no way thousands of people each day should have to wait 45+ minutes in the hot CA sun for this. I plan to send my comments to Disneyland, that's how disappointing the Peter Pan ride was. You'll walk away from the ride feeling like your were robbed. Take my advice, DO NOT waste your time. There are so many better rides at Disney that are worth waiting in line for, this is not...
Read more-- NO Fastpass available for this ride. -- Still The Most Beautiful ride in all Disney parks imho, though so less detailed than the original version that it could seem disrespectful to Walt Disney. So very simple, in terms of technology, but so very effective in terms of creating magic and conveying a most poetical, dreamy atmosphere. How it plays with perspectives and relative sizes and distances and sways to curves and differebr heights to let one forget the mechanical aspects of the ride and induce the coming true of one's dream of flying. Love the fosforescence of colors, and still like the night view of London -- though it has been simplified from the exquisite original version with buildings to a much simpler lighted carpet. Pitty they have increased the ride's speed so very much to shorten the queue times (that are still the longest in Fantasyland) that it makes the 2 minutes ride actually...

Riders soar above London on their way to Neverland. Then they will fly over scenes from the movie including Tiger Lily's rescue and the mermaid lagoon. Watch as Peter battles Captain Hook negotiate flying home.
The ride is short, but due to its immense popularity, the lines can be long. Choose this when spirits are high or when the sun is behind the clouds...you will be standing for a while. Once you finish the ride you'll want to ride again!
