I normally don’t take the time to leave reviews, honestly because I have little time for it. With that said, when I came across a review that says I paid this much for an ice cream, I could have gotten it for half that price elsewhere, it was missing something, etc.…. It just sounds like someone has made it part of his/her personal agenda to just bash a business for whatever reason they may have! As a resident of Annapolis, and someone who wants to support all local businesses, I feel compelled to say something in response… I have had not just ice cream, but also pastries, coffee, and pretty much everything you may find at the store on a frequent basis. I don’t think they are trying to be the cheapest guy in town and compete with McDonalds for sure, but their prices seem reasonable to me… I don’t like it, I go elsewhere. You get what you pay for… I actually find it funny when someone claims that the place was not clean, or some of the ingredients were missing! Talk to them, and I am sure they will more than make it up to you, if that in fact did happen. Don’t take people for fools to advertise other places…....
Read moreWe visited this place for the first time. We ordered 4 hot chocolates, 2 small and 2 mediums. They made them and brought them to the table. The 4 of them were terribly cold, and a quarter of the cup was filled with whipped cream. Kids temperature is usually 90 degrees, but these "hot chocolates" were definitely below 80 degrees. We traveled 30 minutes to get there and enjoy a HOT chocolate as a family so, we asked them if they could re-heat them. They steamed them again mixing all the whipped cream in it and then topped them off with another quarter-cup-amount of whipped cream, which made extremely sweet. This time, they were just at kids temperature. Their service was ok, but they didn't seem super nice when I told them the beverages were cold. We paid $16 for these bevarages, and no one made sure we were happy and satisfied. They never paid enough attention to us since they were busy talking to their friends who...
Read moreThe BEST ce cream in Annapolis? This place is simply iconic. He won't see me going to Annapolis without stopping at Red Bean on main Street for ice cream. My personal favorite is if I do a lot of ice cream with a shot of espresso. Called an affogado. It's heavenly. And they can make just about anything with any topping. I had an opportunity to talk to the new owner, Victor. He told me the midshipman have been coming a lot and asked if he could get protein to mix in with the ice cream! Makes sense for those sport teams that need the extra protein. The place is clean as a whistle. Even the bathroom is super clean. The decor is really quite unparalleled by any of the other ice cream stores in town, this place is super comfortable with plush seating, and even some great window tables raised up so you can watch pastors by enjoying the town. This is the best of the best when it comes to ice cream...
