B'Inspired Studio — Local services in Ashland

With all his raving five star reviews, it’s hard to believe that Troy botched my hair on accident. I’m a nice easy-going client who communicates clearly in tips well so I’m genuinely surprised.

When I confronted him about this, he politely told me to screw off and that he’s keeping my money with no resolution to fix the cut. Either he was highly distracted and didn’t care about paying attention to details, or it was intentional to punish me for asking for a touch up. We had an agreement upfront that I would come in for a touchup for some of the layering, and instead he ruined my hair. It’s been six months and I’m still growing it out. Troy cut into the left side of my head behind my ear and jacked it up so bad it lifted the entire cut . This is supposed to be an inverted Bob. It’s correct on the other side, but he decided to dig into the side of my head asymmetrically and ruin it because he doesn’t appreciate my business. Is it discriminatory? Hard to say, but apparently he gets to disregard anyone he doesn’t like or care to amend his error, which is highly unprofessional.

There’s a lot of places in Ashland that are a lot more accountable. He doesn’t have to answer to his clients because he works for himself first. i’d go somewhere else that has a manager that oversees their staff instead...

I absolutely love going to B’Inspired Studio! Troy is the best, he’s something like a hair guru. The first time I saw Troy, he knew exactly what to do. Not everyone knows what to do with my hair type. He has truly mastered the art of curly hair! Here we are years later and I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. I have never been disappointed leaving B’Inspired Studio and will continue to drive from California just to see him. I just recently had my first service with Heather (a brow shaping and wax) and I was not disappointed one bit. I have been plucking my eyebrows for years, to the point where they were getting thin and totally uneven. After growing my eyebrows out for about two months, she gave me a new face. My eyebrows are perfectly shaped. I absolutely love them. I will definitely book with her again, not just for eyebrows but for some other services that she offers. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The shop is always clean too. If you’re in Ashland or just visiting, I would recommend B’Inspired to anyone and everyone. I don’t think my friends really understand why I go to Oregon just to get my hair done. I’m sure if they tried B’Inspired Studio, they would...

Troy Brown is an amazing technician! If you live anywhere in Southern Oregon you should make it a point to book an appointment and let him do his wonders! I have looked far and wide for a hair technician who knows how to do a proper women's hair cut! Most hair dressers do not! But Troy knows how and goes the extra mile ALWAYS! My hair is longer, thicker, and softer thanks to the knowledge Troy has! I trust NO ONE else! And to top it off he is professional, kind, and caring to each of his clients. His new studio is gorgeous and you feel utterly pampered when you arrive for your appointment! I am also excited because his wife who also owns and works in the B'Inspired studio offers a variety of services, one of which is eyelash extensions! I am headed there for that too! If you are looking for a hair dresser who has the knowledge to make your hair exactly what you want (my wish was long, thick and lucious!)
