This is a complaint about associates Dominique Kelly and Goergann Golden. I had the most traumatic experience today on 1/13/2023 at the Bloomingdales Charlotte Tilbury counter inside of Lenox mall. I walked in and politely said hello to the sales associate Dominique Kelly who was putting makeup on a customer's face. I stood there for a while and she never greeted me back or even acknowledged my presence so I walked away to find another sales associate. There were no sales associates present at the 3 other beauty counters in the vicinity so I decided to go back to Dominique Kelly. I said Hello again and 30 seconds later she turned around and finally greeted me. She said she would help me in a second. I said no problem because she was preoccupied with another customer. A few minutes later after she was done with the other customer she came over and asked how she could help. I told her I wanted to return an item and get a refund but she advised me I would only be able to swap it for another item. I looked around and decided I would get the Charlotte Tilbury Contour wand but their darkest contour shade was not dark enough for my skin complexion so I asked if there was another shade darker and she said no. This made me feel uncomfortable supporting/buying products from a company that didnât cater to my skin tone. I decided that I no longer wanted their products. I then asked Dominique Kelly if I could receive store credit of any kind and she said no itâs against the return policy. I looked online but I couldnât find the return policy so I asked Dominique if she had a physical copy of the return policy maybe on a receipt or anywhere posted in the store. She said she didnât have the return policy anywhere that I could read it and that I had to take her word for it. This was very odd to me because the return policy is usually printed on the back of the receipt which she could print out and show me. Nonetheless I asked to speak with the manager of the beauty department and she brought over another associate by the name of Goergeann Golden, she came over with a discourteous hostile attitude. I asked Goergeann if she was the manager for the makeup department and she said âyes I am one of the managersâ . I asked her if she could pull up the store return policy so I can read it but she told me she couldnât. I then asked her for the customer service number and she said that â Bloomindales doesnât have a customer service department or phone numberâ . She told me that because of covid regulations I am not able to return the product for store credit. This is really outrageous to me because it is 2023 and the store is still operating by covid guidelines. Goergeann walked off and I googled Bloomingdales customer service department and the top search provided me with a phone number. I asked Dominique was that the customer service number that you told me you couldnât provide me with and she said âYes but we donât have oneâ. I felt uncomfortable so I decided to leave.    Read moreI have had my first and last buying experience at Bloomingdaleâs. I ordered a $1450 pair of Valentino Boots on Nov 11, 2021 for my birthday party Nov 22, 2021. I paid for the boots in full and elected to have them shipped to the Lenox Mall, Atlanta, Georgia location thinking it would be safer to ship it to Bloomingdaleâs than have them dropped at my door where somebody could possibly steal the package. Boy, was I wrong! I think there are thiefâs in the Bloomingdaleâs company. Long story short, I never was notified by Bloomingdaleâs that my order arrived in their Lenox Mall location. I reached out as my birthday was approaching, to find out that they were delivered via UPS on Nov 16th. I called Customer Service who put me on hold while they called the Lenox store. For 30 minutes, the Customer Service Agent worked very diligently to locate my boots which were verified delivered by UPS. Finally, the Customer Service Agent came back and said that they have my boots I can go pick them up. I drove straight over to Lenox only to have Lenox tell me they could not locate them and I needed an email from Bloomingdaleâs for verification that they have arrived. I explained that Bloomingdaleâs Customer Service had worked with the store and located my boots. Bloomingdaleâs pick up looked everywhere and could not find them. I called Customer Service back the next day and explained the whole situation. They recommended that we cancel out my order and just place another order. Upon doing that, it was discovered that there was not another size 8 anywhere. They were sold out:(. If UPS verified delivery to the Bloomingdaleâs Lenox location on Nov 16th and Bloomingdaleâs Lenox doesnât acknowledge the delivery to the customer but instead steals a fully paid for pair of $1450.00 Valentino Boots. Then, when the boots canât be found by Customer Service or the store, Bloomingdaleâs refunds the customer and the Bloomingdaleâs thief gets away with the Valentino Boots. Iâm just saying!    Read moreI have mixed feelings about this Bloomingdale's. I tried to order something online for in store pick up and wasnât notified until late in the evening that they did not have it. I tried online ordering one more time and same result. The MAC Cosmetics that is part of this store is downright terrible. I wonât shop there at all anymore after two truly terrible experiences. I waited 30 minutes for an associate to grab a bottle of foundation and sell it to me when there was only one other person in the store. There were two associates. Neither said hello or acknowledged my existence. No thanks. The first time I went in to this Bloomindales a sales rep in the handbags area turned her nose up and just ignored me. Literally. Only one sales rep, a very nice woman, talked to me at all. Iâm not sure if it was because I didnât look like a million bucks or what have you, but I was treated like I didnât belong there. It made me uncomfortable and some of the sales women were really rude. The second time I went in for a handbag, the store was a mess. Everything was in the wrong place and nobody really cared.
