This review is solely for CorePower customer service that I REALLY hope will be improved.
I drove ONE HOUR in traffic hoping to make it 20 minutes early - but there was a major accident, and to be sure I wouldn’t get locked out, I wanted to call. I looked on the website and it only had a Denver location phone number where there was already an 8 person wait time.
After someone finally answered, I was told there were no phones in the studio reception office. No phones - no way to contact a particular studio - except via email. She said she would email the studio - but there was no guarantee they would check it. I finally got off the phone - flustered, aggrivated, and feeling VERY different than I hoped to feel on my way to this new experience at this studio.
I was REALLY looking forward to trying out this studio and becoming a member. I’ve been doing yoga for 5+ years and I’ve been looking for a new home studio since coming to GA. I’ve heard GREAT things about CorePower — but I DON’T believe in investing my time and finances in a studio that doesn’t seem to care about customer service.
If the ringing takes away from the “yogi vibe”, you can have phones on silent. Your reception desk is away from the studio anyways.
I’m currently sitting in my car, in the pouring rain, locked out of the class, with tears of hot anger streaming down my face because I drove an hour to get here and the NEXT class isn’t for another 4.5 hours. I felt like I had NO help, NO assistance, and NO way to get in proper contact with this studio.
CorePower, I really hope this gets corrected in the future. I do NOT blame this location in particular - but I call out the whole CorePower organization. Brainstorm ways to serve your customers better - starting with a proper way to get in contact with individual studios in a timely manner.
I don’t think I will attempt this again. This was an extremely disappointing experience.
CorePower, be better for the...
Read moreI’ve taken a few classes at core power yoga, including Midtown and the Ponce location however my favorite Restore class at with Remy at Buckhead. Her class brought so much tranquility to me, she made everyone feel comfortable and at their own pace all while providing assistance. I personally like Highland Yoga a bit more since they offer “slower” meditation like classes but im considering getting a memebership here just because of Remy. If you are thinking about signing up to one of her class, DO IT! Shes an amazing instructor, you wont regret it. Studio was clean offering water station to refill your water, cubbies to put your stuff while you’re in class and full bathroom including showers. Cant wait to go back to another class of hers....
Read moreThey have lowered their standards but not their prices. When I started a year ago the teachers were fit and now some are obese and a number of the new instructors clearly have never been in a gym on a regular basis. Extremely not fit! All you have to do to be a teacher there, is memorize a sequence, you don't need to be able to do it. It is absurd...I have been in yoga and fitness for over 20 years. The bar has been lowered so much that now to be a fitness instructor you don't even need to have ever been into fitness...bizzare! I have to find a more professional yoga studio. Corepower is no longer...
