This will be a very long review due to level of attention, care and detail of information provided during each of my two visits.

I knew from the time that Dr. G and I spent during the initial FaceTime consultation that a time was going be had.

During the consultation Dr. G recommended her 4 month Bootcamp that would consist of Microneedling and Chemicals peels that would target all of my skin concerns.

My visit to Vanity MedSpa in Buckhead was truly rejuvenating. From the moment I stepped into the serene atmosphere of the spa, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was calming and a subtle aroma of essential oils lingered in the air.

Dr.G and her lovely assistant Alexis greeted me warmly. Dr. G took the time to understand my skin concerns and goals for the treatment. The first treatment was the microneedling facial and I must say it exceeded my expectations in every way. As someone with concerns of hyperpigmentation, uneven texture and acne scars, I was eager to try microneedling for its reputed skin-renewing benefits.

During the treatment, I felt minimal discomfort thanks to the numbing cream applied beforehand. The microneedling device used was state-of-the-art, ensuring precision and effectiveness. The process itself was relatively quick, and I appreciated that my Dr.G and Alexis checked in regularly to ensure my comfort.

The second treatment was the chemical peel. During the treatment, I experienced a mild tingling sensation as the peel was applied, however, it was well within my tolerance level. She allowed for appropriate amount of time to pass before each application of the peel to ensure my skin's safety.

She recommended customized facial products tailored to my skin type, which made me feel valued as a client. The products used during the chemical peel were of high quality, and I could immediately feel the difference in how my skin responded to them.

The treatments were incredibly effective and one aspect that stood out to me was the attention to detail. Dr.G paid close attention to areas that needed extra care, such as my T-zone and any areas of dryness or congestion. She also provided helpful tips for maintaining healthy skin at home, which I appreciated.

Overall, my experience at Vanity MedSpa was exceptional. The combination of a serene environment, personalized care, and effective treatments made it a memorable and worthwhile visit. I did not sign up for a boot camp, and no one reached out to me for over a month. I followed up after a month to express my concerns about the persistent marks on my neck. The response to my review itself highlights the issue at hand. The lack of communication was the primary reason for my review, and improving responsiveness to client concerns could help prevent similar feedback in the future.

I noted my sensitive, eczema-prone skin in the intake forms. The office was clean, and she was personable, explaining the process and recommending a monthly skin boot camp.

After treatment, my face healed, but I developed circular hyperpigmentation on my neck. She assured me it would fade in a week, but after two weeks, the marks remained. She provided a serum, but a month passed with no follow-up. When I reached out two months later, she acknowledged the marks were still there and offered a peel but couldn’t explain what went wrong. A dermatologist confirmed the microneedling settings were too deep, and another med spa advised it wasn’t the best option for my skin.

I saw Dr. Gilbert and Hayley at Vanity MD. I had the most amazing experience. Hayley gave me a warm and professional welcome as I entered the clinic. I was a little nervous at first but she made me feel at home. The clinic was decorated beautifully and was very tidy. I found the clinic to be aesthetically pleasing. I can not rave about Dr. Gilbert enough. She was very attentive and soaked up every word I said. She identified not only the problem but the cause. I appreciated her focusing on getting to the root of the problem and looking at me holistically. I found Dr. Gilbert to be an expert in my issue and her several years of experience can definitely be seen as she came up with a differential diagnosis. I appreciate her taking time with me during my appointment. It did not feel rushed. It felt as if she delegated an entire hour and a half to 2 hours trying to pinpoint what brought me in. Although Dr. Gilbert knew I fully trusted her to perform a specific procedure, I appreciated her conservative route to medicine. She had the opportunity to gain profit by doing the procedure, BUT she chose to be conservative and look at how my lifestyle was contributing to my problem. All I can say is I have NEVER had a doctor be so patient and thorough with me. She was comprehensive.
