Unprofessional and irresponsible staff and management. I dropped-in on a class on Saturday 1/27 and I forgot my Alo yoga mat and Manduka towel by the cubbies in front of the classroom. I immediately call the studio and nobody ever answered the phone, I called at least 9 times that day. After this, I decided to email them about my forgetting my mat, I told them specifics of how it looked like, brand names and where I left it. I told them, that due to personal scheduling I would not be able to stop by the studio until today, 2/1 to pick it up. They replied to my email by saying "we have a lost & found box, please look for it there". To their email I replied to please keep it safe, since I won't be able to stop by until a few days after and it is expensive gear. No reply. I continued to phone the studio throughout the week and not a single call was answered. When I finally stop by the studio on 2/1 they direct me to the lost & found box and of course it wasn't there. Their system for a "lost & found" is basically a free for all, they don't have it behind the reception desk, they don't check ID's when somebody claims an item, you can basically walk up and grab whatever you want! They put my 130$ Yoga mat up for grabs, even though I emailed them multiple times, common sense would say to keep it safe if somebody already claimed it! I am beyond upset, not only was this mat expensive, it also had sentimental value, as it was a gift from my deceased brother. The staff and management is simply unprofessional and irresponsible and do not care at all about...
Read moreMy wife Julie and I took an Infrared Yoga class from yoga Instructor Jeff a few months ago. Jeff’s class was amazing. His approach to the class demoing each pose in a calm and relaxing tone really made the flow and experience of the class perfect for the format. You can bring your own yoga mat, yoga towel, and water bottle which is what we did. Otherwise, you can rent a yoga mat for $3. Yoga studio has mirrors all around so you can see yourself if that’s something you’re comfortable with. Lighting is low light which enhances the mood for a great yoga class. Other nice perks about Infrared Yoga are free parking in the Belcarra complex right off of 106th Ave NE. There are two huge showers with towels, body wash, and shampoo if you want to shower after yoga, three additional restrooms, large and small towels if you need one. Members and staff are friendly and always nice. For newcomers, best to come in early so you can tour the facility. It’s also best to show up for class early so you don’t interrupt the class once it starts to respect the other students and instructor. We definitely highly recommend Infrared Yoga for the location, facility and amenities, and the quality of the Instructors. We can’t wait to take our next class once we can schedule it in our...
Read moreI drove my girlfriend to her yoga session yesterday. She booked her session for 6:20pm. I got her there a minute early. She walked in at 6:20 and by the time she got to the desk, she was 1 minute late tops and was greeted by a very rude male Indian receptionist who refused to let her in claiming - “door closes at 6:20pm on the dot” and she wasn’t allowed in. Extremely poor customer service and rigid policies.
I understand the importance of punctuality but I’m sorry, you are running a business with customers who are paying you, not the other way around. It is only reasonable to have some wiggling room for session timings as part of good customer service. There are people who live far away and had to go through unexpected heavy traffic to come to your studio. Some of us have very busy work/personal schedules and it is not easy for us to carve out time for a session. The way the studio turns paying customers away because they were seconds late shows a lack of empathy and...
