Athleta has a wide selection of workout clothes. It has workout clothes, Leisure apparel, swimsuits and Beachwear, and outerwear. I like that Athleta usually has a sale Section. One time I got a pair of blue capris for $19. The sale Section is often disappointing because prices are still high. For example, for one long sleeve shirt, it can still be priced at $40 to $50 tights. Tights can be $50 to $60. Outerwear on sale can still be $150 to $200. I prefer my prices to be under $50 for tights or leggings or pants and $20 to $30 for shirts or tank tops. The quality of Athleta is high generally. However I've come across some pieces of apparel that are very low quality and the fabric that is used is really itchy. I have a big problem with some of the clothes being itchy. I have some pieces that can't stand more than two to three washes. But, for the most part I am pretty happy with the clothes. The one thing I would say is that I consider Athleta to have good staple items, but I don't really consider them to be flashy or fun items. They don't have a lot of cool prints and patterns or unique items that I can't get anywhere else. One thing I look for in Athletic Apparel is creativity, uniqueness, and fun. My pieces from Athleta are pieces that I can use for a long time because they aren't very seasonal. Whether I get help, depends on who is working and how many people are in the store. I often have to look around for an employee to help me and they are usually behind the front desk. It is very rare for someone to be roaming the floor and come over to help me. They always say hi, in my experience, when I walk into the store. Where things break down is when I need a particular size, or I have a question, or I need to try something on. It is frustrating to me to have to walk around to find somebody to help me. Even when I am in the dressing room, there often isn't anyone asking if I need a new size. I usually have my husband sit in the chairs outside the changing room and he will go get me a new size. I understand the role of the salesperson is to make a sale but I get really frustrated if there is someone in the changing area and they see me try something on and they Rave about how awesome it looks. I could literally have a camel toe, and they will say it looks absolutely amazing. It makes me lose patience with other people and I won't listen to anything they say going forward. I think that they should do a better job going around asking people if they need help. It's usually not very crowded, unlike some other stores, so that have no excuse. It's also a big space so out never feels too crowded. Also, some staff don't don't know the product lines well, so they have to go...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFor the 2nd time this week I was treated horrible in this Athleta. I thought the first time was a fluke even though my 25 yr old daughter said ātheyāre always like that.ā The store was empty and still no one greeted just us and it seemed like they actively avoided me. Itās whatever, but it was noticed. I just went back just a bit ago because Ive been looking for a couple of pairs of leggings I already own. Bought in November. I wanted to buy a back up pair of each. I didnāt see any and wanted to ask a worker. Amy literally avoided me and turned her back on me TWICE. Lisa, at the door, greeted everyone but ignored me. She also turned her back and avoided me when she thought I was coming to ask a question. It was awkward and wouldāve been comical if not so ridiculous. Do I look poor? What the heck? Iām literally wearing a pair of Athleta leggings as I type this standing outside the storeā¦.so they should be able to SEE that Iām a customer. Ugh. Oh well. Iām very funny with my money and donāt spend it where Iām not wanted. Liked the leggings. Thought they were worth the money. I have a pair thatās over five years old, and still looks great. The first time I went here all was well. I spent over 250.00 on 3 items. The associates were very helpful. Not today and not last...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām very upset after visiting this store at the Mall of America. I counted at least three employees working at the time and was not helped or acknowledged when I walked in. I was looking for polar tech leggings and the woman I asked had a very crabby look on her face and told me they didnāt carry them. (she didnāt mention that I could get them online?!)
My son touched the bike hanging in the window, the same women screeched at him across the store, I was handling it already! I noticed other customers walking in and they must be regulars or friends because they immediately rushed over chatting it up while the rest of the customers were ignored. Your staff comes across as very rude, snobby and uninterested in helping customers. I live in the area and would rather pay shipping charges then ever step foot in that store again!!
By the way, I stopped in a very popular leggings store right across from Athleta and they were amazing and helpful. You may want to take a hint and treat your...
