LAST UPDATE: I eventually got a new bulb and put it in and it works great! I am VERY pleased with the service and help from the staff at Pam’s Purple Door. I use my beautiful lamp every day/night and it’s still beautiful and I still love it just as I did the day I bought it. Can’t wait to get more! The customer service is great and the store itself is amazing! They have so many cool different things you can look at! If you go to Deadwood, SD make sure you stop in to Pam’s Purple Door and check it out! I’ll definitely be returning next time I come to Deadwood!
UPDATE: I got ahold of them on Facebook and they sent me a new base! I have to get a new bulb to use it now cause when I went to take the shade part off the broken base it broke the bulb so now I have to get another thumb but I’m happy they sent a new base! I updated my review and stars based on them getting ahold of me and replacing the base! I’m very happy with my experience. Will let you know if new base works when I get a new bulb again. Other than that no complaints!

Read moreI wish I could give 0 stars. Scummy place that will happily steal your money!!! Every other shop in Deadwood has the same stuff they do, so I recommend saving yourself the trouble and dont go here. They have a harry potter game that has a tiny sticker that says $1, nothing else. Me and my bf put a $5 because we saw a little area that looked like the machine gives quarters back. It took the $5. Let me play once, then the machine turned off. No change, no extra plays. I went to ask the people at the front counter if the machine does not give change back, and the guy with a really disgusting attitude told me obviously not. I said there is no sign that says it doesn't give change and now I'm out of $4 without warning. He said "since you're not smart" and proceeded to smack $1 dollar bills on the counter. He did give me $4 in change back but not before belittling me. WHY WOULD THE MACHINE EVEN TAKE THE $5 BILL IF IT DOESNT PROVIDE CHANGE? Every other machine spits the bill back out... they will steal your money then get mad at you and yell at you for trying to get it back. You have been warned. Worst customer service of my life. Read moreWISH I COULD GIVE 0 STARS. BUYER BEWARE!!! I went in and found a rack of stickers that had a price of $2.99 each or 2 for $5.00. I picked out 2 and went to the register and paid with a $20 bill. She gave me $8 and some change back. I told her there must be a mistake that the sign said 2 for $5, and she said that there were two sizes and that was for the small stickers. I told her that I didn't see that on the sign and asked her just to take them back. She said NO REFUNDS. I said I haven't even left the counter, can't you just return my money and she refused. She said I told you your total beforehand. I advised her that i couldn't hear that because her music was too loud.This was the worst excuse for customer appreciation I had ever seen.
