They are not transparent about their pricing. We were charged a āsitting feeā of $105 for a group of 10, and an additional fee per person after 10. This would not be an issue, but your āsitting feeā is not included in your final price. We were not disclosed this information until we went up to pay. When looking through the website, there is no section that discloses price prior. It was $75 per/digital file. You are paying $75 for a singular digital picture. If we wanted to pay for all digital files, colored and black & white, it would have been over $440. When we pre-paid their āsitting feeā, we assumed this was part of the final price. When I stated this was not disclosed to the gal the was checking us out, she removed the fee. There needs to be better pricing disclosure. We were prepared to pay a pretty penny in a tourist town, but not to this extent.
The younger gals helping us with the costumes were pretty contentious when it came to the costumes. Iām sure they get tired of telling people to be careful with their āvintageā costumes that were āolder than I am.ā You do not get to really browse apparel, they just ask you what you want and they pick items for you. We did not mind this.

We are concerned about the $100+ āsitting feeā that is NOT incorporated in to the final price that was not disclosed to us when we came for our appointment, or booked online. They all seemed to be more concerned with the non work related conversation's they were having with eachother than the fact that there were customers wanting to have pictures taken. If my mother hadn't had her heart set on having the photos taken then I would have just walked right back out and not even bothered. When we came back for our appointment, we were rushed into the fitting area, at which time costumes were handed to us... I thought we would have been able to at least pick what we were going to wear for the shoot. But no, it was kind of like they just wanted to get us put ASAP. I already hate having my picture taken, but was willing to do this for my mother and children. As the photographer arranged us for the photo, she positioned each one of us.. I felt a bit uncomfortable. It seemed abrasive. After positioning me, she proceeded to arrange my dress around my stomach and trying to get me to show my stomach off saying "we want to show off the baby too"... unfortunately Im not pregnant!! Lol! My face went 50 shades of red and as she knelt in front of me, I said "um... Im not pregnant" I sort of laughed at the awkwardness of the situation. This visit didn't quite tick the 5th star because the overall experience and product wasn't quite as polished as you'd expect from a 5-star establishment.
Some areas for improvement would be as follows: when we visited, the costumers were not working so one of the photographers had to fill in. He did a great job, but I wonder how our outcome could have been improved if we just had someone a little more familiar with the wardrobe department helping us... also, could have been nice to get a little knocked off the price since they couldn't provide that part of the experience.
The staff was pretty good, really friendly and patient for the most part. One fella wasn't too good with kids and became visibly frustrated when our 3 month old and 3 year old didn't do exactly as he wished. I suspect he was a supervisor but I really don't know. Seemed like he was having a rough day and maybe had a few too many cups of coffee or something.
Looking at the website, in hindsight, it looks like I met Aaron the owner and didn't even know! Great guy, super friendly and I hope for the best for him, his business, and his family!
