Not sure about other artists in the shop but from my personal experience and opinion, don’t get tattooed by Kai unless u wanna be talked into parts of your design that u don’t want to get, then gaslit into thinking it was your idea, then argued with over changes u wanna make to the design, then almost charged for an extra hour of time (I always time it myself to avoid things like this) and then finally hate your tattoo so much that the minute u walked out the door started looking for a different artist to do a complete cover up/rework. I voiced every single thing I wanted different and was basically bullied through irritation of the artist into doing it, I probably would’ve just walked out if I hadn’t already put down a deposit. I’ve been tattooed by many artists and had tattoos that I wasn’t totally happy with before and the artist worked with me to fix it or gave me a partial refund. Of all the artists i’ve been tattooed by (maybe 10) this was the worst experience...

This place is amazing! I've worked in the tattoo & piercing industry for a decade and I can honestly tell you that every single person here is an impressive tattoo artist, master of their craft, and they are all genuine, enjoyable people to be around as well. I’ve only been tattooed by half of them so far, but I assure you Cam, Soup, Sammy, Tanin, Sugar and Hailee are all fantastic artists with different styles that I highly recommend to anyone. Kai is amazing! I went in with a basic idea and they worked with me to make sure it went with my existing tattoos. Finding queer friendly artists can be hard sometimes, but with Kai I felt very comfortable and seen. The entire experience, design, stencil placement, size adjustments, and the overall happy vibes while getting tattooed was one of the best I've had. I even went back with my girlfriend for her tattoo sessions for support and good conversations. I love my raccoon and am very sad to be leaving the Flagstaff area.
