I was in Jackson visiting and my girlfriend and I both were so excited to see a Pendleton store. And both of us owning several Pendleton towels and other merchandise, were excited to shop. Unfortunately upon entering the store an older female displaying no name nor providing a name was very fast to remark on us not being from the area and my Carhartt coat. Along with seeming disgusted at the fact we enjoy “tent camping” and where we reside she was condescending at best the entire time. We left with playing cards. The least I’ve ever spent at a Pendleton store or outlet. EVER. We took our measly little $25.00 purchase and went about our way to our regular mid 20s homeowner hard working household. As a local, Jackson Hole Pendleton is one of my go to gift shops for clients, friends and family. I've purchased several blankets and pieces of clothing here. I especially love the Jack Knife Blanket Beige - one of their more contemporary pieces designed with our local ranch brands. Great textures to add warmth and style to any home. I actually have one of their blankets on my bed right now. Their staff has always been super kind and helpful when choosing between too many great options. When I went into this store last winter I found that the staff was very friendly. I just ordered a blanket and am really excited to receive it. However, every time I call it goes to mailbox and says it is full and I can’t leave a message. The lady I talked to when ordereding really struggled to take my order and it was a long process of repetition. I value face to face the most and wish I could have been there to purchase it.
