Update: After my initial experience at Roadhouse I wrote this review. Almost immediately Morgan, one of the managing partners made contact. I explained my experience and Morgan was very apologetic and offered to make things right. I will say our second experience was outstanding. I had the Bison short rib and it was worth every penny. My wife had the steak and repeatedly said "mmmmmm" after every bite. I say give these guys a chance and enjoy the friendly staff and friendly environment

After a long day at work I decided to treat my wife and I to a meal. I’ve heard good things about the Roadhouse so I gave them a call. That part was great. The hostess was polite and was quick to answer the phone.

Once I got to the restaurant I produced a 50$ gift certificate. The hostess being new wasn’t sure if the certificate was valid at this restaurant. Would not have been an issue but before she went to find a manager she cleaned a couple tables and sat 3 parties. This took about 10 minWhen she was done she told me she finally found the manager. 5 minutes later the manager comes and accepts the certificate. Keep in mind, my food was there the whole time.

The certificate was for 50$ and my total was 90$. I produced 100$ bill and the hostess disappeared with that and about 5 minutes later came back with the change. When I spend 35$ for a meal I don’t feel like it should be dumped in a box and cold when I get home. I still gave the hostess a tip because I do not feel like this was her fault.

Now my wife wanted the steak medium. This to me (see pic) is medium rare. The steak was cut into 6 pieces when we opened it up. It seems to me they tried to speed cook it. Problem is, didn’t work. To sum this up this was not a nice treat at the end of the day and was not a great surprise for the wife. I hope you can use this information to improve on a couple of things. Thank you for your time while I vented. I just don’t get the opportunity to order out very often and was looking for a...

We got the sirloin burger and bison burger and they were very good. Our server was very nice but she was constantly yanked in a million directions. The hostess kept bugging her with questions about things and stressing her out. She actually got pretty stern with the hostess at one point and told her she’ll deal with her issue later.

We watched our waitress put a big brown plastic water cooler on the ground and fill it from a water spicket, that’s low to the floor and obviously used to connect a hose for cleaning. No, there was no filter on it. She dumped ice in it, clamped the lid on, and put it on her station with all the glasses. That’s what she used to fill everyone’s water glasses that she brought to their tables. Not her fault, just probably management’s cheapness.

I would like to give our waitress four stars and the hostess two stars, so I had to settle on three stars for Service.

When we arrived in the restaurant and got to the hostess stand upstairs, the hostess was nowhere to be found. After at least five minutes a waiter passing by told us the hostess probably has something going on but should be around shortly. By this time there were eight to ten people in line behind us, looking frustrated. After at least another five minutes or so, the hostess came out of the back room looking down at her phone. She asked how many of us with a bored look on her face. She didn’t say hello, she didn’t smile, she made eye contact for one second, and she didn’t offer any apology for (or acknowledgment of) our ridiculously long wait time.

I wouldn’t go back to the Roadhouse Pub & Eatery because the place is entirely too hectic and that seems to be because it’s stupidly...

Ok sooooooo where to begin. Well I’ll point out some good things. To start off for a disclaimer the service was decent in that servers were friendly and attentive and came through in a timely manner. Drinks were made pretty good too. Those factors provide the extra star. Ok now the nightmare. For my meal I ordered the fish tacos. My fault for not looking at the price I just assumed no fish tacos would be 30 dollars. The concept seemed really good. The execution was awful. I understand it’s a bony fish they use but they didn’t work at all to debone the fish it was a little bone with every bite. It was a DIY taco so ok I grab the fish fry and fish out the bones (no pun intended) then I dip I the very bland salsa with the soggy tortillas. Ok now the worst part of this doesn’t concern me but my friend eating with me that chipped his tooth on a bison burger. The bone that was in the burger lodged in his tooth splitting it in two. We took pictures and showed the staff. The staff and possibly supervisor/manager manning the front did come by and to her credit showed great concern. They took the burger off the check but what they should have done was make all our meals free. That’s what I’d have done in their shoes. Also to go above and beyond if I was the manager I’d ask for the bill from the dentist and offer to foot that. True you can’t always know what’s in the meat you’re cooking but when someone happens to someone under your care as a restaurant patron you take ownership. That’s my opinion anyhow. With the burger taken off the menu the price was still outrageous the most expensive meal on our trip and definitely not the...

Day 4 was a doozy! We hit a few more places in Yellowstone before driving south into Grand Teton NP. We had some pretty impressive timing, as the Yellowstone southern entrance road just opened for the season the previous day! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t very cooperative, but we had a blast chasing roadside waterfalls and looking for wildlife. The snow in southern Yellowstone was CRAZY! It was so high, you couldn’t see over it into the canyon. Once we got into Jackson, we figured a rainy day called for some cozy breweries. Can you spot the clip of Jeff post holing for a waterfall shot? 😂 DAY 4 Itinerary👇🏼 📍West Thumb Geyser Basin along Yellowstone Lake 📍Roadside waterfall stops at Lewis falls and Moose falls 👉🏼Grand Teton scenic points: 📍Snake River overlook 📍Schwabacher landing 📍Mormon Row 👉🏼Downtown Jackson Hole 📍Stillwest Bar and Grill 📍Roadhouse Pub 📍Persephone for ☕️ We stopped at the Albertsons in Jackson before heading to our condo in Teton village. ➡️Tip: Make sure you double and triple check road closures. The southern portion of Moose Wilson Road is closed through Labor Day!

Such great brews and food in a great town! I can’t quite remember what my husband cozied up to but I ordered the seasonal Sweater Weather cocktail (apple cider spritzer, homemade apple cider vodka, lemon juice and Red Bull, $14.00). All my faves in one! The apple cider flavorings were obvious and you could just hardly taste the lemon juice or Red Bull. I probably would have liked it to have more Red Bull. For food, I chose the aptly named Jackson Cheesesteak made with shaved North American Elk, grilled onions, bell peppers in a magnificent IPA Cheese sauce that comes with fries ($23.00) and asked it to be loaded with jalapenos (+$2.00) for an extra ZING. Absolutely delicious! The elk was perfectly cut and the cheese sauce had just the right amount of flavor and didn’t overpower the sandwich. They def went heavy on the jalapenos, to my delight. 10/10 sando would get again! I also tried the Roadhouse Burger (8 oz beef burger, white cheddar, iceberg lettuce, house pickles (YUM!), with roasted shallot-garlic-bacon aioli, served with fries $20.00) cooked medium-rare. Props to the kitchen for making it exactly as asked. The aioli was spectacular, all the right amounts of garlic-y/bacon-y that blended so well with the rich, high-quality burger. 10/10 for this guy, too. Service was fantastic, our server checked on us just enough times to ensure we were doing ight. Loved my experience and I will return!
