"A Heavenly Oasis an a Gem: Persephone Jackson's Nourishing Haven"
Tucked away in the heart of Jackson, Persephone is a culinary sanctuary that will nourish both body and soul. This charming bakery and café is a testament to the power of wholesome, locally sourced ingredients and creative culinary expertise.
As a health-conscious foodie, I was thrilled to discover Persephone's commitment to serving nutritious, organic, and sustainable fare. From hearty bowls to fresh salads, every dish is crafted with love and care, showcasing the best of Jackson Hole's seasonal produce.
But the true pièce de résistance at Persephone is its sublime pastry and bread selection. Flaky croissants, crusty sourdough, and decadent Danish pastries will transport you to a world of culinary bliss. Be sure to arrive early, as these tender treats sell out quickly!
What sets Persephone apart, however, is its dedication to community and sustainability. From partnering with local farmers to reducing food waste, this forward-thinking café is a shining example of responsible business practices.
In short, Persephone Jackson is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking nourishing, delicious, and visually stunning cuisine. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this heavenly oasis will leave you feeling grateful, inspired, and utterly satiated.

Read moreDisappointed is an understatement. Weeks leading up to my trip to Jackson, I reached out about purchasing a whole bundt cake as a surprise for my best friend’s birthday. I knew it was a long shot because they make it clear they don’t offer cakes to order. However, I was told in writing that they could sell me a whole cake as long as they have one available. I understand this doesn’t guarantee me a cake, but the customer service I received upon visiting was despicable. Weeks later, I drop in first thing Friday morning 10/25 and kindly ask if it’s possible to buy a whole bundt cake. The woman behind the counter looked at me like I had 5 heads. She didn’t even acknowledge me when I asked if it was possible and went back into the kitchen. I had to ask another employee to check for me and that person also blew me off. She eventually came back out, and when she spotted me said, “we can’t do that” and proceeded to walk away from me before I could respond. When I asked why, she pretended not to hear me. I asked to speak to the manager and conveniently, no manager was around that morning. I feel disillusioned by this place. It sure is cute on the outside, but the folks inside have a bad attitude and lousy customer service. I’ve never waked out of place so speechless.
I want to make it clear the problem isn’t that I walked out without a cake — I knew that was very much a possibility. But I didn’t even want to spend whatever it cost to buy a slice because the woman at the counter ignored me, showered zero empathy and made no attempt to remedy the situation. I’ve worked in the service industry most of my life and I could never treat another people with such rash disrespect. It’s just rude and left such a bad taste...
Read moreI gotta say, Persephone was a bit of a let down for me... I really tried though! I did my homework ahead of my trip to Jackson Hole, WY and P ended up top of the list! My first attempt - I had a very limited amount of time for lunch due to being in a conference and given a lunch break. I waited the in very long line with high hopes... Only to get to finally get to the front of the line and find out that they were cash only that day?! Ok... Unfortunately, I didn't have enough on me that day for lunch.
I tried again the last day of my trip. Again, high hopes! I LOVE coffee, I wanted a pick up a couple things to bring home. I was there early in the morning for a croissant and latte (in a mug) for breakfast. Not a big breakfast eater, so pretty easy to please! Again, long line! Hilariously, I asked people coming out if they were taking plastic inside - they kind of looked at me funny. (Didn't want to waste my time again!) Fortunately, they were! First, they got my coffee wrong, then gave me kind of a hassle about having to re-make it... I'm not sure how you get a plain latte wrong to begin with, but ok! The coffee was definitely not my favorite. Neither was the ham & cheese croissant. Nothing that I wanted to buy was in stock apparently and I had a flight in a couple hours. Actually, the only thing that I actually liked about the place was the firepit on the patio! Y'all, just go next door to G's! They have...
