My experience is similar to Alexandria Davison's review from two weeks ago. We arrived at our Windflower two-bedroom condo to find the front deck separated from the face of the building and occupied by scaffolding, building materials, and construction workers. While Alexandria was notified the day before she arrived, we were not notified at all....which is inexcusable given that Outpost had so recently encountered another justifiably upset customer. Our deck was unusable, the view of the mountains was obstructed, our privacy was invaded, the windows were inoperable due to safety issues, and the noise from the drilling and sawing was disruptive. I would never have chosen Outpost or this condo if I knew this would be my experience. Upon calling Outpost, they apologized for the inconvenience and said they should have notified us. They offered a full refund if I wanted to leave the property, but this wasn't realistic given we needed a place for four adults and two children under 4 on the week of Labor Day. Also disconcerting was that they weren't willing to provide details of compensation for the disruption until the end of our stay. We checked out of Windflower 2115 on Monday of this week. On Tuesday I received a text message from Outpost saying "we have refunded you $700 as a reflection of our sincerest apologies" and they were hopeful I would "accept this compensation as a gesture of good will." $700 is less than 1/3 of our rental fee. As of now (Saturday) I have not received a credit. Pics attached.

Crystal Springs 405 was nicely appointed. We had no real issues during our stay, be aware it is right next to the Mangy Moose so you may encounter some loud people leaving the bar at early hours of the morning. I was woken up on at least one occasion. The unit itself was really nice with vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, but they need to update the photos as the furniture was not as luxurious as depicted. They need to replace the washer and dryer as it was unusable. Smelled terribly of mildew and did not feel my clothes would come out cleaner than when I put them in if I attempted to use. That was a shame as we were planning to use it. Really could use larger bath towels, they were tiny. A faucet handle was broken in the master bath, and the carpet outside of the unit leading from the elevator needed replacing. It was gross to look at. The parking space in the heated garage was nice to have at night but 405’s spot is hard to maneuver in and out of, especially with an SUV. Otherwise the unit did have the “luxury” feel and we had a very nice stay. Loved using the fireplaces, especially on the cool nights and the kitchen with martini glasses and wine glasses was nice to have. Was easy to bring home leftovers from dinner and pop in the microwave.

Aspens Log Cabin was 5+ stars all the way. It's conveniently located to everything is greater Jackson Hole and I was in absolute awe of this BEYOND chic and stylish home. It was the ultimate Wyoming dream house: immaculately cleaned, decorated, and well-appointed. My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and it was the perfect combination of the luxuries of a 5-star hotel with the comforts and intimacy of being at home. The kitchen had every tool and gadget a home chef could dream of and even the toiletries were high end. We enjoyed cooking meals at the house, building fires in the wood burning fireplace, playing cards and board games (an impressive collection of games and books provided in the coziest game/reading nook under the stairs), and soaks in the hot tub that the management was nice enough to have turned on in advance so it was hot upon our arrival. The entire Outpost team was professional and responsive and made our stay SO special. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and we are already looking forward to our next stay!

Just got back from our stay in Jackson. Was traveling for hiking in the Grand Tetons and running in a half marathon over the weekend. I definitely recommend this unit at Balsam Lodge as well as other properties managed by Outpost. The unit was well located for a short commute to town and being away from too much congestion. It was also 5 minutes from the race starting line which was a big deal at 4:30am! The unit was well stocked with more than enough toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, laundry supplies, linens, and kitchen cookware and place settings. I was trying to limit myself to a carry-on, so the washer/dryer as well as an ample supply of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash helped so much to limit added toiletry expenses while shopping for the week. The only 2 negatives I had were the bed was a little firmer than I was used to, but I honestly got used to it after the first night and had no problems sleeping after that. We did buy a cheaper pillow top down mattress pad for $40 at Target and left it there, it was well worth it. Also, the walls are a bit thin and sound really travels throughout the unit. Was not a problem at all for our group, but if you have people sleeping at different times I recommend investing in ear plugs to limit sleep disturbances. Other positives, we were able to check into the unit two hours early. Check in and check out are very easy and what you would expect. The management company was very quick and responsive to any questions I had, usually responding by email within 2-3 hours. They were very friendly and personable and easy to work with. Thank you to Outpost for assisting in what was a wonderful week and getaway. Keep doing what...

Just recently stayed at one of their locations in Jackson Hole. The location was incredible, shuttle stop right there that took about 5 minutes to get to the base, and you could also walk a few hundred yards to a lift. Some of the beds were very questionable, bed frames completely bent inward, making for a pretty awful night of sleep. I would think a company like Outpost would ensure that their homeowners have suitable beds. This place also had paper thin walls, could literally hear the man above us snoring every night. Obviously this is due to an old building, but it’s something they should warn in case your looking for a good night sleep on your ski trip. The handbook provided was great and made navigating super easy. They provided some things like paper towels, matches, dish soap, but it was strange there was no salt or pepper and no sugar. I think it would also be good to provide newspaper for starting a fire, that is something travelers certainly won’t have on hand. Some weird fake plants in bathroom and on surfaces, it my opinion it’s best to have as much available space as possible for people to spread out their belongings rather than having dusty old fake plants. I also think Outpost should let their guests know upon booking about the reservations Jackson Hole has for Ikon pass holders, we didn’t know that you needed a “reservation” - although they sell day tickets at the window but if you have an ikon pass you can only book your days online in which they say days aren’t available yet they are selling tickets? Okayyy.

Overall I think Outpost is doing a good job, but there are surely some areas for...

TETON SHADOWS SOUTH TETON UNIT A: This should really be 4.5 stars. Everything was perfect with one small gripe at the end of this review. Location: Great at least in the summer. 12ish minutes from Jackson, 20ish minutes from GTNP entrance. Quiet complex. Amenities: Amazing! Keurig and regular drip coffee maker, kitchen utensils are not lacking, big TV with YouTube TV, very up to date fixtures in bathrooms and kitchen. Accommodations: Awesome! 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms upstairs, half bath on main level, Jack and Jill bathroom in the basement. We had 8 people (2 couples, 3 kids, single adult) all had comfortable (firm) beds and no one had to wait long for a shower. Extras: we visited in the summer and it was warm. No A/C but that was expected. LOTS of fans are provided by the property management company. If you're sensitive to heat, sleep in the basement level. 20 degrees cooler down there easily. Now the gripe: window screens throughout the home are either not fitted correctly, have holes in the screen or both. We easily fixed this issue with blue painters tape but I feel we shouldn't have had to do that. In the summer windows are open and bugs are fierce and plentiful. I get that in the winter this wouldn't matter but if the screens were fixed this place would be 5/5 stars easily. Even with this small gripe I would stay here again. It's a beautiful home with a nice small deck out back, plenty of room inside for 8 people, and tons of nice amenities. Just bring some 2" blue painters tape just in case the screens aren't fixed. Better yet, Outpost, please fix...
