I'm going to let you know exactly what happened when we visited the shop. We went there twice as I'm trying to find the perfect hat. I've been thinking about it for years and finally found the one in this shop. A white hat I really like. During the first visit, I tried the hat on and told the lady I was probably going to buy it, I just needed a little time to think about it. Her face when I said "we'll come back"... Very judgemental but I get it, a lot of people say that and never come back. When we were there, the same lady was talking to a man (maybe the owner?) about how many hats they sold that day, counting every dollars they made. We were rather uncomfortable but anyway... business is business I guess.
We went back today, the white hat had to be mine :) We got help from a very nice young woman (hopefully you'll read this message, thank you so much for your help today!). I told her I loved the white hat and asked if she could find other hats looking like this one. She did very quickly! 2 hats, one black, one brown....loved them both! But...the white was still the one. Obviously, we knew buying a white hat would also mean having to deal with stains here and there. The hat wasn't clean and before buying it I asked if they could do something about it. The young lady tried to clean it but couldn't take the dust off. I asked if they could do something about the price....what have I done! As soon as I said that, an older lady came telling the younger one (not talking to me at all) something to that extend : "we're not loosing one dollar because of this stain! It's going to get dirty anyway!!". As I hate it when people don't talk to me, I answered "I understand a white hat is going to get dirty, I just wanted to buy it clean...". The young woman looked so disappointed for me, again thank you for trying your best. The other ladies made us feel like they didn't want us here. We left without a hat. I'm kind of sad as I was going to buy it even without a discount. Please try and be more considerate of your clients, locals or internationals. Your shop is beautiful but the older staff make it very hard to want to spend...

The owner said she would be happy to ship it to me and if it didn't work out I could send it back for an immediate Refund or another size. These days immediately usually means "several weeks to process" Not at this place!
I loved the vest, but it was just too big. It would have taken significant alterations to make it fit so I sent it back in the box it was delivered in via FedEx by simply printing a free label and including a return sheet with name and order #.
