Read moreThis place is one of the WORST PLACE I have been to. First off, things are at the pricey side but we did not get any good service for the price we pay.
Food: Foods are on the salty side, and the coffee just taste meh. Everything is just average or somewhat below that. We normally like taking picture of our food, but since it was so mediocre we didn't bother with it. But the main problem is our whole table end up having STOMACH DISCOMFORT after eating their food.
Service: The very basic seat us down and take an order. Nothing special, BUT, they were rushing us out even though we were still eating our food, and the café was still quite empty so I don't understand why they are trying to make us pay and usher us out so quick.
Worst part: They charge us 20% gratitude fee for a table of 4, which is crazy since they said on their menu 20% gratitude may be added to a table of 6. Not only that, they specifically return a receipt that has the tip left empty prompting us to leave more tip on top of that 20% gratitude. NO THANK YOU, for such poor service and food. Then, as we leave we hear one of the staff muttering something about us being cheap under his breath.
I wish I can give this place a negative star if possible because I haver never been to such a horrible place that mistreats their customer this much. Part of me wonders if this is a racism thing, since the other table which is with white customers got to stay behind for a long while and chat on their table without being pester to get out of the cafe even though their table was cleared. Wondering if they do this to specifically scam the Asian tourist here......
Overall, I am deeply disgusted by this cafe and would advice people to take their money to go else where. If I have known this is how we will be treated I would rather starve than eat here. This really left a salty note on the nice trip we...
Read moreWe came to this restaurant because we were wandering around trying to find a place to eat and this little lady said she enjoyed their breakfast and lunch.
The waiter was a bit standoffish, at first you think he is arrogant but it might just be his odd personality.
There were only a few people at the restaurant but it seemed they were not very attentive to filling your water or asking if all is okay.
That said one of the reasons for the low mark is that when a different guy came out to bring us our food, he handed a friend a very hot plate which burned her hand, and he never even mentioned it was hot - and it was for food u would not expect to be on a hot plate. With that said, we mentioned it to the waiter who's first words were " "Well I did not bring out the plates" rather than something like "Oh that's aweful! I am really sorry to hear that. Would you like some ice!" (He did bring out ice later when we were done and after her hand was a little better).
Furthermore, one of my friends over heard one of the people in the back say "oh she burned herself on the plate" and while this statement may seem Innocent enough, it wasn't that "She burned herself, it was that "He" burned her hand handing her a hot plate.
Not that its expected but you would think that with burning your customers hand, that might warrant a free dessert or something.
At the end, he did say that they "yelled at the guy" for doing that but that's no real consolation.
My food was good, The Reubin sandwich my father had was dry and tasteless, with not...
