I have been an infrequent visitor of Newport mall since 2015. In past decade, the mall has changed significantly for the better. It is so much more brighter and better now compared to 2015. Staff members have done a good job keeping it clean and well maintained. A lot of new and popular brands have opened their store here. It has direct passageway to the Path train station due to which gets a lot of foot traffic. The mall has three floors with top floor having the food court and AMC. The food court has some of the popular chains like Shake Shack, Chic-fil-a, Gong Cha, Panda Express and Sarku. The mall also has a Meet Fresh, Cheesecake Factory, Kura Sushi and Macy’s. There are several other apparel, shoes, cosmetic and perfume stores in other two floors. The mall is spacious and open. The parking lots adjacent to the mall are not free. Depending on parking period, the parking cost ranges between $5-$20. We mainly come here when we are in JC and want to stop by Meet Fresh.

Omg I had to get another loaded fries to take home. I will be back next week, lol. Oh, and the cheese pull is real. Omg u have to go and try it for yourself.

I’ve always enjoyed this mall, and the recent renovations have made it even better. The new pedestrian bridge makes crossing the busy street much safer and more convenient. The upgraded food court and movie theater are fantastic additions, adding to the overall experience. There’s a wonderful mix of shops, both new and familiar, with reasonable prices and convenient locations near dining options and hotels. Everything feels more accessible and enjoyable now. I’m already looking forward to my next visit and can’t wait to explore all the...

Dear Newport Parking Management,

I am writing to express my frustration with the current parking fee structure. It seems unreasonable that someone who has only parked for 15 to 30 minutes is required to pay a flat rate of $5, even though they have not been there for a full hour.

This policy feels unfair and comes across as prioritizing revenue over fairness to visitors. A more reasonable, time-based system would be greatly appreciated and would reflect better on the city’s hospitality.
