Bushel & Bee Taproom is hands down my favorite spot in Leavenworth to grab a drink and hang out with friends. From the cozy, inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service, this place has everything you need for a perfect night out.

One of the most unique and beloved events at Bushel & Bee is their Open Lit Mic night, held on the first Tuesday of every month. It’s a space where creativity flows freely—you can read a poem, share a story, perform song lyrics, or even entertain the crowd with hilarious Tinder messages. Whether you’re participating or just enjoying the eclectic mix of performances, it’s always an unforgettable evening filled with laughter, inspiration, and community spirit.

In addition to Lit Mic, Bushel & Bee offers a variety of other exciting events. They’ve just started hosting stand-up comedy, bringing a fresh dose of laughter to the taproom. Another unique event is Tipsy Talk, where a subject matter expert gets, well… tipsy, and passionately dives into their topic—it’s educational, entertaining, and a bit unpredictable in the best way.

The drinks here are just as fantastic as the events. The rotating selection of beer and cider on tap ensures there’s always something new and exciting to try. They also feature unique options like CBD-infused kombucha drinks, and their hot cider is a perfect match for chilly winter evenings.

Honestly, top five tap rooms I've ever been in! This place has fantastic ambiance, a great vibe and hip fee to the space. Reclaimed wood lines the walls and ceiling giving the interior a warm comfortable inviting vibe, total relaxation and chill! This place sets the bar and it's pretty high. Russell is great for good witty conversation and recommendations if you are uncertain what to order and even better what places to visit in and around the Leavenworth area..

Make sure you also check out when they have the jazz band playing! You will not want to miss it!

They have a very good selection of beers and ciders on tap as well as well as mead. Make sure you venture to the back and check out their bottle beer selection, equally as refined with an excellent choice, mindful of of unique craft-beers . They don't serve food here but are cool with you bringing your own. But that also means if you have a dog, they are certainly welcome.

The only danger here is this place will truly make you envious that you do not have this place in your home town!!.

What happened? They must have changed hands or management. No longer a mead dominant spot. They only had 3 on tap and 6 bottled (they charge to taste) and none of them were what we hoped we would come back to. Now this is a way more bougie, spendy place but if that's your style, then stop there. The service was super snooty and stand offish, like we were putting him out being here. Only one short fire table for outside seating. No longer a recommend for me.

Old review... Great little spot for a different drink...mead (they have wine and ciders as well). Watch the taistings...they cost, even though they didn't tell us that up front (not till we got a bill). We bought drinks and a couple bottles but she never waved the tasting fee so, that was a new one. We like the options, cozy atmosphere and available bottles to go.
