Let me start with saying look for a different place. Like others have said, this apartment is nice but the headaches arenât worth it and Iâm writing this to warn you.
We moved in last December to our toilet not working, and it eventually flooded. When I threatened with an attorney they finally replaced the toilet and it works now with absolutely no problems but they liked to blame it on us for the first one not working. Next, proceeding with our dishwasher not working and the bottom one still doesnât work. Again, the maintenance said they couldnât replace it because the manager prior is no longer there and they donât do that anymore since they have so many problems with all of the other dishwashers. Finally, our hot water heater stopped working under our sink and flooded our floor. We had to run a fan and they said we could go to a hotel and file it with our insurance. It took two days of a loud fan to dry it out. The windows donât close tight and they say itâs a problem they are working with the person who put them in. You can hear everything outside.
Not only the mess above but there is more (:
Last night we had a dinner upstairs where there were lots of people drinking outside and playing the piano (not in our group). We had about 10 people at the dinner table, mind you the entire rooftop was open with others. The so called security guard approached extremely unprofessional cussing in front of an 8 year old boy, âI donât give a shit what you do in just telling you no dogs allowed upstairs. I donât give a f&/k what you do.â My husband immediately went to take our dog to our house.
Proceeded to this morning with an email that we were informed of the $1,000 charge for ârentingâ the rooftop for a âprivate eventâ. If I knew we wouldâve went out to eat. Bradley Patton the resident services manager was rude when I told him his security didnât talk to me about the charge. He said I was confusing him that we talked to his professional security guard that loves to cuss that we talked about taking the dog back but no charges were told. He proceeded to say Iâm glad you agree you talked to the security guard (well my husband did). Like donât not understand???? He literally talked about the dog like Iâve said multiple times. Weâve also had lots of dinners up there and never been told of a charge for two hours of dinner. He thought he was saving us for charging two hours instead of three. Finally he said he will send us to his senior management team so I will update what happens there.
When you tour the building they tell you how quiet the rooms are since they are concrete- donât believe them I have a 2 month old baby and our neighbor loves playing music all night. Which Iâve asked security to take care of and it continues to happen. The floor above us is a showroom so they clean all night and you can hear things dropping which is very annoying.
The pool and hot tub is usually broken as well fwi. It took weeks for the hot tub to be fixed and they just fixed the pool. They also tell you a restaurant will be put into the basement and canât wait for it but theyâve been saying that since weâve moved here a year ago. Lastly, the parcels havenât been working the past few days for mail so thatâs great too!
This is just a few things I can think of but youâre so much better off somewhere else. Paying $4800 for a one bedroom you can find a better place I promise. Really the only thing that is done well is the concierge up front as they are super nice but the rest is a joke. Really sad for the amount they invested into this building.
Let me add - I asked about leaving and we would have to pay an...
Read moreI pay almost $5000 in rent. Please tell me, is this a joke?
On the second day of my wife and I moving into the building, our entire room flooded from the toilet, and the new mattress and furniture in the bedroom were flooded.
After a few days, my entire living room was flooded.
The toilet in the bedroom has flooded more than 10 times during my time here, I think even 20.
Just because I said we were going to use a lawyer, they replaced my toilet.
A guy from the security who worked here spoke to my wife in a rude and unpleasant way and made her cry
Right now there is a young guy, in the security who speaks rudely, and not for the first time, simply a nightmare.
We were told that the walls in the apartment are concrete and that you can't hear noises, so why can't my baby sleep at night because the windows don't close properly? After they came to fix them for us at least 5 times, and the problem still hasn't gone away?
And in addition - the music from the neighbors at 2 am every night we complain and complain and nothing happens and it continues. We gave up.
The dishwasher that doesn't work and causes problems
The ice maker doesn't work occasionally and even then barely
The grills sometimes work sometimes don't
And you think that's all?
So no, I'm just getting started.
Yesterday, I had a light dinner on the roof of the building, which was full of other tenants who were not related to me, and immediately at noon my wife received an email from a rude guy named -Bradley Patton the Resident Services Manager
Sending me a receipt for $1000 for an event, and claiming that this was what was in the conversation with the security guard on the roof,
the only conversation I had with the rude security guard was that my dog ââwas not allowed on the roof, which I did not know, and immediately after that I returned him to the apartment.
Needless to say, the young security guard was rude, and humiliated me in front of all my friends, and this is not the first time.
âBradley Patton, the Resident Services Manager continued to correspond with my wife in emails and stated that I had booked an event and I had to pay $1000 for the dinner on the roof of the building, at the height of his impudence.
$1000 for dinner on the roof of the building? And I made the food?
In what world?
Is this the most expensive restaurant in Los Angeles?
Or in the country?
So no, all in all I sat there with a few friends, and got charged $1000
Of course I won't keep quiet about it, Everyone knew the shallow behavior of Bradley Patton the rude Resident Services Manager.
The shallow security guards, because of which my wife cried more than once.
The many malfunctions in my apartment that have not yet been fully addressed.
I plan to file a lawsuit for the mental anguish caused to me here, mainly because my lease is for 18 months for a total of $80,000+
And it's just not worth it. Ha, and if you try to cancel the lease, they will charge you no less than an insane amount đ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł
Everything that happens here is just one big joke.
I will recommend to all my friends, and many acquaintances, not to make the mistake and move to this place. Thank you and...
Read moreIâve lived here for a year and a half and Iâm counting down the days until my lease is up. 1. There are no security cameras in the parking garage and my car has been entered multiple times and had things taken from it. They place the blame on residents saying that we arenât securing our cars well enough when we pay thousands of dollars in rent and they donât have the proper security measures in place to begin with. The dog run is constantly covered in piss and shit and they only hose it down to clean it and fine people for not using it (no one wants to step on piss and shit.) I was fined $125 because our yorkie peed on a bush because he wouldnât even step on that nasty turf. The mail system is an absolute nightmare. The parcel pending delivery lockers are a joke, the front desk doesnât notify you if you have a package delivered to them and most of the time everything is just thrown in a back room where youâre left to look for yourself to find your packages in piles of other peopleâs packages. Also if you try to get your mail while packages are still being delivered, you're pretty much an asshole because the post person has to quit the logging system theyâre using so you can get your mail. If you have anything urgent or valuable, donât get it delivered here. My boyfriend and I didnât plan on living together and he was staying with me for a few weeks until he found another apartment since his lease was up. Management was tracking his visits and told me I had to add him to my lease or he wouldnât be allowed on the premises any longer. So, if you donât live with your partner and want them to visit regularly, donât move here. When I had my tour, the agent told me they would clean the building windows 3 times per year. They havenât been cleaned once in almost two years! When I asked management when it is scheduled, the agent I spoke with said itâs not in the budget so theyâre not doing it. Iâm paying 4 thousand dollars a month for a view and they canât afford to clean the windows? Donât build a building made entirely of windows if you canât afford to maintain it⌠They donât allow residents to use the valet service unless you pay an additional 325 per month! And if you want to self park your own car, youâre limited to one entrance in the back of the building when thereâs two entrances that should be accessible to anyone paying to live here. The guest parking is constantly full and management always says there arenât anymore available spots to purchase when thereâs levels of empty spots in the garage. This place is a scam, very poorly operated and the management doesnât prioritize current residents. They tell you a bunch of sweet nothings when you tour and then leave you dry when you send them your...
