Taste Food Hall — Restaurant in Los Angeles

My wallet was stolen from my backpack yesterday ( July 25, 2022 from 550pm to 7pm) while eating at food court and security was no help at all but they just referred me to lapd. Security said that there was a brazlilian last week at which the wallet was taken away as well and they cannot help me. Lots of homeless people roaming the street beside 7th and figueroa station and crazy guys shouting. Forgot to mention that security said that cctv not working at food court. Be warned in this area especially at food court and always put your valuables in front of you. I reported the incident to lapd. The mall looks secure because lots of security roaming but they are no help. Lost usd $1400 plus almost 200 cad dollars. Learning lesson for me and everybody should be warned...

Had a chicken burrito here at Ocho grill. Terribly wrapped burrito, so loose that it fell apart when I got to half way. The person that wrapped the burrito had long, glittery nails and didn’t even wear gloves when wrapping my burrito. There’s no way it’s sanitary to handle money and credit card and wrap a customers’s burrito without gloves. Also, the meat portion was very small. For $13, this was the worse burrito I ever had. Great collection of eateries to choose from. Everything I saw was a legitimate, high quality option for a good lunch. You will not find a McDonald's or Taco Bell here, which is refreshing. In fact, the only name I recognized on my first visit was Five Guys. I'd love to say I'll be back to explore the options further but I tend to not spend too much time in crowded areas.
